Despite supposedly being the mainstream mmo of its time, the Leadale game is filled with systems and poor dev decisions that would make it flop as people would riot and quit with any one of the numerous stupid decisions. No such game can exist in the mainstream, even with technology advancements. These odd mechanics and designs only exist to allow for what the isekai MC will be doing in her new life. The "skill master" system is utterly ridiculous. It doesn't make sense as a world post-mmo, either. Every time currency is brought up prices seem to drastically shift around and an item previously described as expensive is worth half as much as a beginner's quest at the guild. Additionally despite the mc's sole action in her past life being playing the game at its highest level, she doesn't understand or remember basic features of the game that existed even before it became a "real world". She doesn't even remember her "son"s name or who he is until it is explained to her despite him being one of the most important NPCs in the game and one of the three she personally created!
It's very frustrating because the characters and art are charming but Everytime something happens all I can think is "this doesn't make sense".

It's a nice slice of life story of an OP character, with good ideas and an enjoyable plot.
Some Short Context
Firstly, everything translated by HaruPARTY has been wonderful for years! Thank you HaruPARTY, you people sustain me. Secondly, the webnovel for this story was written in 2010, around the same time as other major VR game (trapped/reincarnation/transmigration) stories were just barely starting to be written: the VR game genre was just starting to emerge. So this is like one of the original stories written during the birth of the whole VR game craze. The Overlord webnovel was starting to be written in 2010. The first Log Horizon volume was published in 2010. The first SAO volume was published in 2009. Etc.
My Opinion As of Translated Chapter 4
Sure this story is not as intense as some stories, but I feel like it is an interesting breath of fresh (2010) air. The MC is fairly cute, the story so far is cute, and it's another glimpse into one of the lesser known founders of the genre. I'm very satisfied with the casual feel of the story.
