I knew what the ending might be from the beginning. I don't read a manga until I find out if the ending is good or decent because of S#!Ts like these.

The author already removed a character specifically because she became extremely popular. I read many Fu@ked up series and I had a good idea that the author won't care how popular a character is or developed their story is as long as removing them will cause good Drama. [ Akame Ga Kill ].

Was the ending Dramatic Yes. Was it stupid and killed all Character Development Yes.

Did I only read Volume 1 and dropped it because I knew what kind of story it will be Yes.

Good written characters with great story development with great art but the author might remove characters without a caring for their plot and character development as long as it serves to create Drama. He will ruin all character development, plots if it serves to cause more drama.

Basically it ended in a Dumb Revenge Story where the protagonist sacrificed everything. The promises he made, the character developments, The happyness of others, all plot for revenge.

Even a terrorist could write a story like that. They sacrifice every thing for their own goal even humanity.

The ending is complete bull** and throw majority of characters' development out the window. This is way worse than the author just walking away and keep it on permanent hiatus.

Flawless from beginning to end.

A true revenge story.

Akasaka didn't care and delivered peak. It's obvious he had this ending in mind from the very beginning.

Go re-read the very first chapters and there's clues everywhere.

A perfect 10/10

This manga was so good that even the terrible ending won't let you drop the overall rating below a 7-8. But this practically destroys the work and your motivation to care about it in any form. Aka Akasaka is truly a unique author who can kill an incredibly great work with his own hands to prove the opinion of haters about his story.

1/10 for the terrible upcoming ending. I have been follow the manga since day 1 and this is what I get for the ending. It is fair to say that I have been scammed by the first chapter promise.

The premise is supposed to be about someone getting reincarnated to get justice on his killer. But then it's entirely dropped for the sake of spreading nonsense about the superficial entertainment industry. Like, if it portrayed it realistically, I could understand, but they just make it so cringe worthy.
