I'm not a fan of the "survival games" genre, I often find them dumb and lacking in many senses, this one on the other hand, I find quite interesting, the good intro of the MC's fallen apart life and therefore his motivation in throwing himself into a world of fighting and killing is a good intro and having a grown-up MC is a nice change, he's mature in many ways and rightly so, unlike the usual overly perfect teenager he feels more real.
What's not so great is the whole diary plot, but it's done well enough, it's the basis for justifying his fast growth and the author has foresight enough to realize and show how his own actions actually affect how the world described changed, so at least it's done properly.
Overall, it's an engaging survival game kind of story with better consistency and story-telling than most out there.

Edit: Unfortunately, as it often happens, it starts to drag later on, becomes more generic and less engaging. I'm still reading it hoping it will improve again, but this one is probably another one that fails the 100ch hurdle and never recovers. 7 at the start, 5 now, so 6 for the time being.

NOT Boring parts:
MC is decisive, his actions are snappy and mature. Does not allow the selfish characters to live, or worse, blather on before killing them. Is not stupidly compassionate and is quick to tell people if they're acting stupid and will get him/themselves killed. No negotiating with morons who just get in the way because they refuse to do anything themselves, THANK YOU.

Unfortunately the rest of it is boring beyond belief:

Everything is incredibly repetitive. Other manhwa have nearly the exact same premise and even character motivation, and is illustrated/written far better.

It's actually pretty boring and not to mention its a 'chosen one' kind of MC which is boring in itself.

It also rushes ahead to much as if they only have a deal for x amount of chapters. And then they drag out battles for chapters and chapters, as if watching DBZ

As others have pointed out, the manhwa becomes more generic as it goes on. I eventually dropped it.

After the first third of the story, everything becomes very generic and poorly paced.

so far, the character is a "gary stu," he's the oh-so-perfect character which makes him boring and the plot predictable
