Description
Best friends turned lovers in a single night...?

"The only one who can ever be with someone like me is you!!" Office worker Isejima suddenly goes down on his knees to propose to bar owner Yakumo, his best friend of ten years.

Jilted by his bride-to-be before their wedding, Isejima pleads his case about being single for the rest of his life and his fear of dying alone. Taken aback by Isejima's ardent words, Yakumo nonetheless feels moved enough to unthinkingly accept!

Amazing, the art isn't really my style but it grew on me as I read it and I'm glad I gave it a chance. I even teared up at some point...

The relationship progress felt natural. The characters are so fleshed out and felt real, they are all loveable, even the side characters!

Fantastic! Both leads really shine, which is good, because it's a very character-driven story. And it delves deep. It also touches upon emptiness and loneliness much more than the summary implies. I'm making it sound like it's really angsty, but no, it's actually quite a heartwarming read, and the humor sprinkled throughout the story balances it out.

On another note, Isejima's one of the better-written character in the autism spectrum I've come across.

It's no wonder he gets bullied at work. Dude's assertive and since he can't read between the lines, he's definitely stepping on the toes of his bosses and coworkers with all their stupid unwritten rules.
. The author did a great job.

This manga was one of the best I've read in months! The art is stunning for me, but I can see how it's not appealing for everybody.
The manga is a mix of funny, wholesome, kinda slowburn romance, and a hint of psychological elements.
All the characters were likeable, and the main protagonists had some character developement as well, which is always nice to have in a yaoi manga. (And I'd like to read more about Mito-san and Iku-san!)
My only complaint is that it was too short, a 2 volume format would've been better, to fully unwrap everything.

(like Hiroki's workplace bullying or Yakumo's past, why he felt empty and needed to be needed)

All in all, it was a nice read!
