Description
24-year-old Haneul Yeon both dislikes and envies Bunhong Jin, the girl who was mean to her in middle school and a popular idol who happens to be close to Haneul’s favorite idol, Robin. Haneul’s dream of switching places with her becomes a reality when the two of them end up swapping bodies after an accident. Haneul is overjoyed to be an idol and to see Robin frequently, but does she have what it takes to live the life of an idol?

An easy read, thanks webtoon for the 5 daily passes that I can finish it quickly 🙂
Very easy read with just enough drama to keep you interested. Great pacing and the character development was so satisfying to see -- sure the two FLs were annoying (re: the negative comment here), but that's how they progress.
Im Chan is the BEST character in the whole series. Everyone else was annoying except him. 🤣
Speaking about characters though:
All in all, I did like the story. The important part wasn't about how or why they switched bodies. It's about them learning about each other, their friendship and growth as they went on to live as someone else.
Also if it wasn't clear, the title Lilac 200% is supposed to represent both Bunhong (pink) and Haneul (blue). Pink and blue together makes a lilac purple colour, and the 200% is the two of them together. 🙂

I do feel bad that Robin didn't appear at all towards the end. What happened to him?! There was zero closure for him. His character just got tossed away, which is a shame. He liked Bunhong so much, so I don't understand why he wasn't mentioned... He must've cared when Cherry Girls had the disbandment rumour and when they moved out, but noooo, we didn't see anything about Too Cool Boys at the end. (It would've been nice if Juna and that guy got together!)
It was also interesting that Ms Geum (the bad CEO) got a backstory, yet she didn't get a redemption from it. She remained as a bad character in the end. I guess not everything has to end well.

Funny, light hearted, colourful story to enjoy your evenings.
Both the main female leads are annoying selfish jerks. They don't get along and they try to ruin not just each others lives but everyone around them. I just can't like this story.
