this story depicts a realistic relationship between two deeply connected characters through misery and romance. a lot of the narrative and the couple's development is based on miscommunication and misunderstandings. even so, it was refreshing to see the characters discuss these issues and actively work towards improving their communication. it got really frustrating at some points but by no means was it a poor story. again, the relationship and emotional development seemed realistic so i can't complain much. also, shoutout to hyemi, the side character who deserves all the good things in the world! i love seeing supportive characters do that was she did. i recommend this as a light read if you can bear miscommunication being the foundation of the story.
