It sure was a long and enjoyable ride. But i hqve to say that i found the relationship with Bomi was forced since their first encounter. No one will ever convince me that Gaeul was not the best option here. But whatever.

I loved season one, the story building and pacing of the story was great. I really enjoyed getting to know different martial art styles (I get that this is not accurate but I didn't even know the basics so). Kinda made me wanna learn something and go out to pick fights with assholes. The transition from fighting bullies to gangsters was pretty smooth.
Second season was nowhere near to season one but there were enjoyable arcs and I really liked the ending (last like 10 chapters). Problem was the chase for Jinho wasn't enough material for a whole season so it became repeptitive.
I have zero knowledge on the sports featured in this manhwa but despite being shounen the development of MC felt realistic, at least definitely compared to other shounens so this made it more enjoyable for me.
I liked the length of it. 218 chapters were a (little bit more) than enough for this story.
I didn't care about the romance through the whole comic regarding to MC but funnily chapter 217 changed my opinion on everything and I really wanted MC to end up with the other girl lol. That left me a little sad.

This was a really great manwha, it had me hooks from the beginning to the middle near the end. 5he onlt issue is that chapter 187, you can feel that the story is rushing and because of that, the quality of the story drops a bit as the conviences of certain things happening are absurd.

The manwha went from a comedy battle manwha to a battle comedy manwha. As the emphaisis wwere reversed, however the manwha was still great overall lol. Overall one of the best manwha I have read

Chapter 80 and 120:

WTF, WTF THAT WAS A HUGE CHANGE FROM WHAT I WAS EXPECTING, BRUH, oh wait nevermind he good, chapter 120 the lady died, she did not really add much to the story, only thing she did do was date the baddie and thats it

But what else to expect from the creator of Lookism? None of the characters are flat or 2-dimensional (or don't stay that way for long) and it's enjoyable to see these characters change and grow.

Our money-grubbing, self-prioritizing, dweeb of an MC, Hobin, might throw some off because he's definitely not the altruistic type and is (mostly) motivated by money, a trait that doesn't quite ever leave even after 59 chapters. Expect to suffer a lot of second-hand embarrassment from him and his antics, as well as a lot of comedy, as he starts off as a complete amateur in the world of fighting, with less ambition towards the arts themselves and more towards packing views/subs for his Newtube content. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have his sense of values and loyalties and it's even more rewarding to see him grow as a character.

Plus, his comment section is hilarious. Park Taejoon definitely knows his audience and I can't help but feel like some of the comments are inspired by the comment sections you can typically find under the Lookism chapters (the fangirling and trash-talking were spot-on in many instances).

The fighting is also excellent. This MC follows a formula similar to Holyland's MC, with street-fighting and some formal martial arts mixed in. The MC progresses slowly in technique, ability, mentality, and physique. He tends to think through with a plan before coming to a fight instead of outright challenging his opponents head-on (there are outright challenges, but he's unassuming enough that most of his opponents underestimate him and he's able to get away with things a more formidable-looking person probably wouldn't, like scheduling a fight for a later date or meeting in a location on his terms). But he definitely has his "you idiot" moments too.

He's your stereotypical weak MC. Doesn't have any friends, never interacted with a female before, etc. This manhwa is just wish-fulfillment for awkward young teens. the interactions are so far away from reality it's just cringeworthy.
