Despite the fact that the relationship of the two develops far too quickly, the pacing focuses more on reassurance and loyalty to one another. the characters were adorable and endearing, everything about it warms my heart.

The mangaka did an excellent job with everything一art's absolutely amazing and it's written so well and lovely, you can tell how much effort and respect they did when writing the piece一it is such a unique work that everyone should read definitely a must read for everyone !!

Uke looks like a child

Made me uncomfortable that he looks 12, even when he's in college. Also Luca said he was polyamorous...did he decide on monogamy for Makoto? That was never discussed. This was definitely more like a PwP. The unusual ML aaaaaalmost tricked me into thinking it was more than that.

If you are looking for a tanned foreign seme in a BL, then I recommend Achira Kochira de Aimashou.

The art is excellent (I mean, the mangaka is Hakase) but the story could not hold my interest compared to two other works by the same author. Also I think there was a bit of too many plotholes (even though it is a fictional work). I'm not gonna rate it since I dropped it around the first or second chapter.

The art is nice and the MCs are hawt. They're the same age, so I didn't have any problems with how they look like.

The Maasai guy doesn't look black, except for his skin tone and Maasai culture is misrepresented, but I don't care about that.

Didn't expect this amount of sexing to happen. Also, a surprising amount of feet being shown. Not that anything weird happens to the feet, but there is feet to look at. I didn't really follow the story all too well, but the characters feel soft and comfy to look at. Most of the chapters end with silly one panel gags which is neat, I suppose? It doesn't feel like anything super serious happens, but these characters are high schoolers after all.

Too young

The idea itself was interesting, sweet and promising. On top of that, the character design of Luca is sheer awesome.
However, there were a few things which bothered me a LOT. First things first, Matoko looks like a girl and is even mistaken for one at the beginning. Second, at one point Luca mentions that in his country, same-sex relationships are strictly forbidden. It seems like they forgot about that really fast and Luca didn't care at all.
Now to the most important point. Most of the story takes place in highschool. The age of the protagonists is never explicitly told, but they must be around 15. I would've been totally fine with the age if this were shounen ai, but being a yaoi felt really uncomfortable for me. Especially because Matoko looks like a (at most) 12-year-old child! It was horrible to read because of that and I ended up skipping most of the smut scenes. Even later, when he's an adult, he still looks exactly the same.
I still give it a few points because (except for the main character) the art was really nice and the idea was good. It's a shame that the author decided to cut back on the story in favor of smut scenes. In the end, it felt like PwP wrapped somehow nicely in the idea of a story, though the story was never really told.
Seriously, I cannot recommend this and I don't understand the high ratings either.

Very interesting mix of cultural views, author definitely put in some research and tried to keep it accurate. I feel like Luca wasn't a generic foreigner, he was presented as a unique individual with a developed characterization. Very sweet, would love to see more like this.

The smexy scene are so hawt, this is so refreshing, like Mako a bit of an eccentric himself, and the progress went a bit fast, and Luca, damn he's so beautiful, and Mako are such a fluffy boy😍

I love the uke

Although the pace is a bit too fast, this warms my heart with a fluffy atmosphere. Their interactions are so naturally cute and erotic without any awkwardness.
What I find the most impressive is the uke’s personality. Despite his girly appearance, he’s an independent and determined boy with strong decisions and actions. This is just the type of responsible uke we need ☺️.
