I really like this series. The theme is unusual but hooking. I wonder why this manga ends with just 5 volumes. Also the ending didn’t sit well with me. I need a closure for the story.

A word of warning: this manga is a fascinating exploration of how society views death—prejudices, disgust, fascination, yearning...until the last two chapters. I am not joking when I say that this took a sharp turn for the worst at that point. The only reason I can find is that it was axed, and the mangaka had to scramble and find a resolution for all the loose plot points.

I'm still giving it 8/10 because the ride is gripping, but...oh man, that destination do be rough.

If anyone comes here looking for a story, it really is just a social commentary on the thin line between life and death. Despite being 5 Volumes I read it easily in one go, the chapters were more like short stories about different takes on death.
This work is just really to make you think about and understand people more, I quiet enjoyed it.
