I loved the story so much that I’ve read it a few times. There is definitely a happy ending to the story and the extras get into the past and the future of the main couple as well as the side couple (the side couple are actually the adoptive parents of the ML).

Side Note:
This is one of those stories that delve into love behind to beings that have different life spans (dragon = 300 years vs human = ~70-100 years) and no power to extend lifespans. Few stories go into something like this, because then by default a traditional happy ending is still bittersweet. in the end, depending on what your viewpoint is, this might be what makes the story better than most or stick with you longer than most because it’s bitter sweet. For me, I thought it was a very cute love story between the prince and the Dragon, however it is bittersweet. The last side story goes into the dragon really internalizing that all the people he loves are aging, including the prince.
