There was a good storyline to it, and it's sweet. I like how open they are, with no shame, BUT the characters were made to have such dull personalities towards everything, and the smut was meh for what it seemed the other dude was into. So I really couldn't get emotionally thrilled at all.

I really liked the story and no, it's not a red flag. I especially liked overcoming and liberating his psychological problem as well as liberating and further developing Min.
Many say that Eui-hyun is an obsessive seme, that's not true at all. Min is just his great love and he is willing to wait until Min realizes it at some point. Eui-hyun sacrificed his life for love for 9 years because he knew that loving someone also requires sacrifice. He couldn't or didn't want to love anyone other than Min. Honestly, I don't see that as a red flag.

The focus of this story is Eui-hyun an obsessive seme trying to turn his unrequited love into a required one after 9 years but also wanting his sex partner Min (bottom) to stop getting all these shitty boyfriends throughout the years. This story is one of compromise (mostly on the part of Eui-hyun trying to comprise and being ok with doing BDSM related stuff in the bedroom because that's what Min likes). Here we have a top that wants to indulge in their sex partners preference but is also hesitant to do it but ultimately does it and lets the bottom sway him in other aspects because he is always weak against the pretty/cute Min.

I think the good is the art, the characters are cute and the sex scenes are really hot. I however somehow got bored of it toward the end and dropped it. I think I wanted the author to cover more in depth the characters? For example, the family situation of Min really interested me but we only got a few chapters of that almost toward the end. Ultimately yes, the focus of this story was them getting together, them developing trust with one another etc. but I somehow wanted more.

Sweet as Hell was not a horrible work. I just somehow got bored towards the end maybe because the focus was more on the smut scenes. I really am enjoying the author's current work Don't Build My Hopes Up and I think it's also an improvement relationship development wise/story depth wise and delving more into the characters rather than sex scenes.

This is a story about two office workers who are friends from high school and became friends with benefits at some point.
The story has an interesting focus on how, despite their huge difference in sexual needs, habits and kinks, they are both working to converge towards eachother and compromise, giving ways to the other's needs without completely sacrificing their own.
