Pretty decent martial manhwa with fast pacing.

This is this one of my favorite murim manwhas. Despite being short it sure is f*****g sweet, with a bada** MC

First off the synopsis is true to the manhwa, so no surprises and pretty well explained.

However, in my opinion, due to the length, relatively short considering most manhwas go over the 100 chapter easily, I think that there is a lot that is lacking.

The regression is almost useless and doesn’t seem to really add much to the story. Doesn’t even help with character development.

The pace is fast but a lot of informations is omitted and there isn’t really any explanation on techniques, power levels or even the political setup. In fact I felt frustrated at the fast pace because it started feeling rushed like you’re trying to get it over with.

The relationships are shoddily built and the interactions are almost unnecessary. The world setting is explained minutely and since the MC is on a mission we get very little information outside of his revenge plot. We only get some semblant of information right at the end of the novel.

I read this following someone’s comment saying it’s worth a pit stop, but honestly I didn’t feel it brought me anything. On the flip side, this is a plot that has far more potential than what has been presented. I think so many things could’ve been done better with a little more time.
