This is one of my favorites of Yamato Nase. I bought it a long time ago and it's one of the few that I kind of treasure as a good find. Very cute and sweet, moving in just the right way.

Did I really read the same story as everyone else? True, I didn't get that far - maybe Akira's dad is an awesome character that would magically make the manga better, but I sincerely doubt it.
Both characters were so annoying and cliche and the story seemed cheap for some reason.

I found him irritating after he joined the club and all he did was pouting. And we he took picture and talks about gays as something amusing. I just wanna clap him. I could not get past the 2nd chapter. I love chibi form but his is just annoying.

Yeah yeah. It's the focus of the budding relationship of the uh, a dude & sum other dude in the photography club... but the scenes where the uh, bigger seme dude's dad is where it truly shines! I loved the father. I wish it was more about him & his job.

I used to think simplistically about tabloids & the scum that write articles about crappy entertainment news (like TMZ), but it's also a complicated business. They do what they gotta do to make $$$. & yep-ppl are gonna gobble them up cuz' it goes right into the hearts of their interests. It's not a black-white issue; it's a gray area. & the seme!-dude's feelings about it, boy, do I feel for him. He's so tortured & embarrassed. It's hard not to feel bad for him.

I wish there were more scenes of the father. He was one truly dynamic second stringer.

Excellent read! If you like the personality combinations of Eiri Yuki and Shuichi Shindo from Gravitation, then you'll like Akira and Sada. (Although, Akira is not QUITE as tortured as angry Eiri, but he does have his raging outburst moments.)

The Written: There is good character development. The story, individual character depth and developing relationships are all delivered with punch. I quickly fell in love with the Yuki Eiri-like seme, Akira. He had a mystery about him. His serious, quiet nature ran deep, yet he had such a subtly and deeply kind core. He was the perfect teacher. I was deeply affected in the scenes where he teaches Sada to consider the subject's feelings. And the reader learns later on why he was so dramatically freaked out about the whole situation. Every frame was important in this story; everything tied in.

The dad was such an intriguing secondary character. Some jerk; some great guy: Very believable person.

I found memorable sentences: "Think more about feelings as you write;" and interesting turns-of-phrases: "That's the second time you've taken a picture of someone's private space -i love that!- without their consent;" and funny sentences: "Next time you take the pictures make sure he's erect." Zing! What a dad.

The Illustrations: Stirring! The emotion in Akira was so profound and affecting created by his facial expressions and gestures. Sada was a little over the top, and I didn't like how often he was drawn chibi, but overall good. Sada did annoy me at times with his child-like nature, but the mangaka always redeemed him by showing more depth of thought to him. There is a reason why he talks so much.

Akira as a beast? Yay! Good hot scenes as well! ;) Growl! Touching scene that takes place in the rain near the end of Chapter 4! Awwww.

It has all the aspects of making a perfect story, it's cute and sweet with a incredibly talented artist to boot. Yet, while reading it, I didn't feel like the rush of excitement go through me. I felt like Akira's timing was completely off and everything was a tad off.
