The ending seemed to be really rushed compared to the rest of the series. Especially "chapter 8" which is more of an extra and not an actual chapter.
Additionally, the twist was obvious to the point I had been comparing art and had already pinpointed it almost right away.
It would have been a better story if there was one more volume even, where it expanded on what happened after his university friends were told.

The seme was very sweet and ideal up until the latest chapter. It feels manipulative of him to leave out such an important detail about him. Also, the snickering and laughing at Kou was a bit too rude for my taste. Like, I can see that it can mean as him taking an interest in Kou but it looked like he was laughing at him behind his back.

It could just be my taste but Kou have been through enough. If he wants to help him get over the trauma of being nerdy and being fashionable, deceiving Kou wasn't the way to go.

Update: I did not like Kou here. Chapter 8 made him shallow. I expected that he'd be hurt that after all that time, the friend-turned-boyfriend that he knew was hiding something about him. It feels like a subversion of expectation tactic but it really didn't work since we've had this build up that Kou isn't trusting of his peer group because of the reason that his friends are fashion celebrities and that he's a nerd.

But to then have it that Kou is just fine with it? Blushing but ultimately accepting? The subversion of expectation did not work.
