Everything about it is adorable, at the start she does seem annoyingly shy but then they slowly grow closer and are so wholesome together. All of Takadono's interactions are adorable amd funny relationship with his sister is so cute and how he interacts with everyone is so warm and nice. Overall, really cozy and wholesome read, doesn't fall into redundant stereotypes like boring ml with hot girls after him and is actually a great read. I just wish it was longer with a proper ending.

If you like Komi Can't Communicate but want something super sweet, this series is perfect. It follows a pretty standard formula of awkward little guy gets a shy smoking babe as his girlfriend, but I feel that Takadono being just as cute as Sekime really elevates the tropes. His relationship with his classmates, especially after their relationship with Sekime gets revealed, is so darn adorable? And it has such a sweetly satisfying ending on top of that!!

Sekimen only follows one formula: "My girlfriend is awkward, look at how awkward she is around me" not even the coziness or humor could save it for me.
I heard the manga just ended yesterday but I have no intention of going back to see the ending.
