not so much for the relationships, but for the background story and scenery -- Hiiro did her research on diving and ocean creatures, and the background drawings are beautiful. the relationships so far seem the usual kind -- dumb misunderstandings, fear of confession, sudden love rivals, yadda yadda. the non-lover relationships of the ensemble cast are more interesting than the lover ones. but i'm going to read the 2nd volume in the hope that there'll be more background.

the "moonlight gigolo" oneshot is annoying; i wish i hadn't read it at all after delighting in the prettiness of the main story.

the scanlation is excellent; very idiomatic, and with good notes. fantasy shrine has improved tremendously since i last read anything done by them. or maybe this is the influence of the hiiro_reiichi LJ comm? if so, it's a great joint effort.

The relationship issues with the main couple was sooo dragged on that i just lost interest pretty much after the first volume and i thought they were never going to get together considering that half way through the second volume there was still no progress. But of course the mangaka had to somehow get them together before the end of the manga and so everything felt rushed in the end. The manga didnt even concentrate on the main couple all that much but more on the side characters. and even the side characters were not that likeable in my opinion, some of them were really annoying.

I agree that the story was dragged out and not only that i feel like i've know nothing about Natsu at all. When you read romance you usually learn about the main character's personality, what he's like, his traits, and all that other jazz and you also learn about the love interest. I'm just thinking who is "Natsu". Natsu is the love interest and he is barely even shown in the story, even when it's from Chappy's perspective. It was basically a bunch of short stories and didnt focus on the main story at all, I feel like she focused more on the supporting characters more than the main characters. On top of that the ending was rushed. Sensei really could've finished the main story in the first volume and had the different short/side stories in the 2nd. basically there were to many breaks in between the main story. I actually forgot what the plot was a few times. And on top of it all, i didnt really like any of the characters -_-

I do not recommend this. However, I do recommend Double Call and Perfect XXX by this same author. Sensei also has a few other entertaining manga that you might want to check out.
