At time of review, read till chapter 120.
Is it a power fantasy? well, yes, but it avoids the failings of numerous other novels/ manga in this genre.
level 9000? i dont know what you are on about. Frankly its pretty amazing that its hard to point out a single flaw or inconsistency in this manhua. Hell, the protagonist makes plans with razor thin margins and there are moments where he miscalculates and actually suffers for it.
Btw yes this deserves a quick mention, the art direction is absolutely stellar, i do not have a single complaint. The characters are all expressive with none of them looking bland or lifeless. It also doesnt fear upping the ante a notch for the comedic moments.
Which takes us to the other topic, It does comedy, and boy does it do it right. Other novels in this genre also try similar stuff but the jokes often land flat because of poor timing and not understanding that face slapping doesnt equal funny for no reason. In this manhua however the artist(s) have a really good understanding of what makes certain scenes tick and they execute on it brilliantly.
Embarassing? i'm also unsure where this comes from. The manhua completely understands what its doing, him proving his teacher wrong in the very first scene of the comic and walking away from it unscathed is a part of it. The manhua is making a jab at the protag himself, not to mention this doesnt really happen later. Also he doesnt even become invincible right from step one.
Yes, if you look at the in universe timing, his pace of growth is astronomical, but from the pacing of the story where each day is described, its not actually long at all. If anything, the thing it is missing is long periods of static cultivation which are just time skips, it has basically none and thats what makes his pace of growth so fast.
Also, his doesnt become all powerful even in universe, His cultivation strength is still comparable to his schoolmates even till the 100s chapters, it is actually his experience that lets him win, if comparing just the strength then he's weaker in plenty of aspects.
TLDR: definite read, not a dark, gritty story but extremely entertaining comedic read with awesome art.

First things first - this is unashamedly a typical 'young master' xianxia with a very common premise, in which an martial arts expert is reincarnated into the body of a 'useless' son of a declining family. It keeps to genre conventions without changing the formula much.
But where this series shines is that it absolutely nails the execution. The MC is smart, ruthless and arrogant (keeping his personality from his previous life). Unlike many other lesser xianxias, he and occasionally faces actual challenges rather than steamroller all opponents. Characters are interesting and varied. The plotlines and story progression are engaging are entertaining (the sea arc is memorable for its originality).
Two special points that separate this from the rest - the comedy is A+, usually slapstick but done extremely well. Secondly the artwork - the character design, backgrounds, and art direction are uniformly outstanding - the best I have ever seen in a manhua/Chinese series.
TLDR - if you like xianxia, this is among the very best examples of the genre.

This is a typical worthless cultivation story. Its only redeeming feature are the frequent, genuinely great reaction faces.
Other than that, it's morally bankrupt and tropey trash: a story of Might Makes Right where we're supposed to root for the protagonist solely because he's the protagonist, who in other respects is indistinguishable from the antagonists - he's just as cruel and vindictive as them, just as much of a liar, and just as pointlessly antagonizing towards others who are far more powerful.
In fact, the protagonist is defeated once early on after escalating a fight multiple times. And the only reason the story continues from that point is because the antagonists don't completely cripple him, when that's what he does to everyone *he* beats.
Other than that, I also can't stand the pointless sexual harrassment by the antagonists. And the extended jokes about homosexuality being digusting and immoral.

As the subject says, you can get really great comedy, considering it's a manhua. Especially the artist did great job with the quality of the art. Good story also, not so much as xianxia story goes, but still much better than the other works. Some comments are funny, because if you've written something 1000 times on a notebook that doesn't have any pages, surely you'll write it the same, or even better on a new notebook.

Its quite generic as far as xianxia goes, but the art is good quality, as are the paneling and comedic timing.

You may be wondering why I think a trashy manhua done right make sense but I couldn't think of a better description. I'll start with this, most manhua like this are pretty predictable. MC is OP or growing towards OPness while he beats trashy mobs along the way. This formula has and continues to be done to death. However, why I say this manhua is done right is because it does not take itself too seriously. This seems to be a growing trend with manhua like "Above Ten Thousand People", "Invincible at the Start, and "I'm A Cultivation Bigshot".
This manhua has the same amount good amount of slapstick, meme, and troll comedy to keep it light hearted while also remembering to have cool fights and art to enhance the serious parts, but most importantly it never lets itself take itself too seriously. The meme/troll parts the MC does make it very enjoyable to read as a manhua you just wanna relax and pass your time with and I definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a similar type of manhua to the ones I mentioned above.

This is pretty good for passing time, but that is all.
There is nothing unique about this story, or maybe there is, but after 215 chapters the main plot doesn't even seem to have started. You just get the usual overpowered MC beating opponents a few classes above him and everyone being surprised. It happens so often it gets very tiresome.
The story doens't have any heart. The cast became so large, there is no room for character develoment of any kind. The MC almost doesn't have a a character beyond arrogant and likes to cultivate talented people.

The protagonist can achieve anything, beat anyone and slap anyone.. but he acts like a 9-year-old boy, the only thing that stands out is the art very well achieved but the personality of the MC is non-existent, dull as f; everyone kneels to him just because he can do what they do but better... just go read "I Am the Fated Villain" for a fun protagonist because this one is a boring diva.

I don’t mind a wish-fulfillment fantasy. I mean, we were all thirteen once, right? But this one is just shamefully awful. The wimpy suicidal kid with no ki instantly gets all the powers. In the first thirty seconds, he has become a super genius and puts the chesty female professor in her place. In the first three hours, he has beat up all the bullies and impressed the whole school. In the first three days, he gets super swole. In the first week, he gets all the ki powers and becomes the boss of town and everybody loves him and all the girls who used to laugh at him want to touch his peen now. It’s actually embarrassing to read.
