I love male yanderes, and the Emperor brought me here. I was expecting an emotionally charged story that mixed jealousy, passion and complex emotions... Sadly, I got nothing. Except for an interesting drawing style and the way Emperor's sister plots her plans (not to spoil too much), nothing else even remotely interested me here. the ML was too plucky for a grown up man, the FL was too much of a tsundere, and the Emperor is completely wasted! Instead of making a high quality yandere who has a multilayered relationship with Frey that transcends the usual black/white status quo, he ends up a complete nutcase. I wonder how he even managed to become an Emperor, he behaved in a irrational, utterly senseless manners most of the time.
The supporting chars were bland, the story moved at a strange pace, at times too quick, at times too slow, and the character's emotional responses were of the chart crazy and unpredictable,but not in a good way. Some much needed consistency is advised here! But no, really, things changed to fast and the plot jumped around with little coherence. Also the world-building is thin as ice,and we could have used some more background, but to much time is wasted on unnecessary things.
Overall, skip. Boring and not intriguing at all. There are much better manhwas waiting to be read somewhere!

It's my fault for my false expectations. I was desperately hoping the FL was actually male and was dressing up as a woman (or not even pretending. He just unironically enjoys the jewels and frills and shit.) as I've never seen that kind of story before, even in boy's love stories where they're not straight up trans. (Which I wouldn't mind either! A trans woman and a man romance sounds amazing.)
But this is nothing like that. I'm very unhappy with myself.

l like it. Male lead is a lovestruck puppy lmao. But, if you're not into male leads who cry a lot.. then don't read this. The female lead looks a bit manly, but well, it's the artstyle. If you don't mind any of that, then I recommend reading this sweet romance story.
