Time of Review: Chapter 16 (Pocket Comics)

Maybe I'm just old but I literally adore this comic so far lmao. It's painfully cheesy and sweet but that just makes it extra good. It may be a little too early to comment on the plot, but I literally do not care what happens as long as I get to see more Lithera and Pell.

The characters are mature, Lithera is given proper agency, Pell isn't an emotionally stunted male lead but still has depth and trauma. It's funny and clever, and has a solid art style. I really, really adore this comic.

This story has managed to subvert all the typical frustrations of your typical romance fantasy isekai. It’s been great, and the interactions between the FL and ML have been so cute and sweet.

On top of that, both leads are practical people and show a solid trust and respect in each other. No communication problems here, and also no weak-willed women or women treated as if they were.

Lastly, this story is funny! It’s a joy to read.

There’s barely any sort of plot driving the story forward so it’s very slice of life like. Instead, this is just wholesomeness, as the author provides a safe and comfortable space for the main leads and by extension the reader too.

Rational adult leads who talk about every misunderstanding and complication. This makes it more like a slice of life than a straight romance. I'm currently on chapter 12 and it's just a nice building of a happy home as they take their time letting time mature their feelings naturally. It's so nice and relaxing to just see two people who care for each other sink into married life with no contrived bullshit plot twists. If you need a bit of healing from other works, this is it

All the things you love about the typical isaki story but without the cliché conversations and dumb character choices for the sake of the plot. If I could give this a rating above 10 I would!

Wholesome and funny. There's a lot of fourth wall breaking and trope addressing, but the relationship between the two protagonists is absolutely golden 👌. My only critique is the art leaves a bit to be desired.

Just slapping a beard and some scars on ML doesn't make it any better he is still unoriginal dog ML who follows FL with wagging his tail.
And FL with her crazy plot armour and stupid personality who only cares for herself and her feeling while being obviously dumber than horse well atleast the name is right for this Manhwa *Another typical trash.
