Description
Saudi Arabia, Morocco, India, and Japan. A series of short stories capturing the theme of "because I'm a girl" 10-year-old girls with different nationalities, religions, cultures, and values.
"We are like the girls in the faraway lands." Yes, we are the ones who are discriminated against. It's hard to admit, but the more I learn about it, the more I think. The more we know the truth, the stronger we become, and the more I learn about it, the more I feel empowered to break it down.
Note: Won the Short Work Prize at the 27th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2023.
