The premise makes you think he'll be drowning in *****, but it's actually the opposite. There's definitely a bevy of beautiful cultivators everywhere, but the actual story has some seriously engaging plot. There's some alternate timelines, or maybe this was the Earth in the far future. There's a mysterious cult that has been manipulating sects all over to get special gear related to his curse, which in itself is pretty mysterious. He's got a System interface going on, but it's not super useful. It does have some benefits, but really, it's main function is a death countdown until he dies lol.
Also, yes, he does get laid, but whenever he does, his NEXT goal (from the system) is significantly higher so it's not like he can just become a hermit with a beautiful woman and live on. It's also pretty rare, I might add. Like in the 80 chapters I've read, I think it's happened... three times? And only once was he not a day or two away from death.
Anyway, leaving aside the snu snu, there's a very vibrant and well developed world going on. I like how although he's from a righteous sect, the demonic sects absolutely have a major presence in the world. The worldbuilding is great.
Characters are also good, including the MC. At first he seemed to be going to be a more righteous type, but due to some circumstances, he ends up being more like an assassin, and then later on actually has to go through a heart-demon-trial, where he decidedly goes down the demonic path. And yet he doens't ever really go out and do heinous things. He'll kill, and he's got an army of perverted skeletons (lol), but he only goes after enemies.
All in all, it's WAY better than I expected. To be honest, the first few chapters are handsdown the hardest to get through, because we have this super annoying tsundere chick, and the MC is bossed around by her (he's still uber weak). But by chapter 15 or so it's vastly improved.
I suggest sticking until they get into the first mystic realm before you make your decision, and the story only gets better from there.
Also, side note: the summary is 100% useless. What is that trash summary? It's terrible!
