Amazing series except for the fact that the pacing is horrible and the ending achieves nothing.
If you want to read this, please do because HOLY FUCK does it stick with a person.

OK. So. This is one of those rare webtoons that is... hard to figure out how it makes me feel.
When the Webtoon app first released it, it was IMO impossible to read weekly. Each chapter was super short & had hardly any story nor hints of plot (though I guess evil corporate guys count).
The art, however, is absolutely fantastic. If the later chapters hadn't revealed a plotline, I would have assumed the series was the artists' excuse to have fun drawing dynamic panels.
Now, the plotline... I must say I was not expecting (I didn't pick up this one for possible romance and got it anyway--though that's not a complaint). It also somehow explained itself & wrapped up decently well in so few (and again, notably short) chapters. Not perfect nor a deep dive, but enough to understand the gist.
Overall, Knight Under My Heart felt like a prologue to something bigger. I don't know if that's intended, but for a quick read I would recommend it. It starts a bit slow but the payout was worth it.

Even though art style is not good the story is good

If you are fan of S.A.O you will love this webtoon it will be a little boring in the beginning because of the art style but as the story progress you will love it but unfortunately it is only has 40 chapter and it has ended there but i feel like they can write more for it

The first 15 chapters are boring as hell but if you're later to the series you can binge them all. As many others pointed out, there is not much explanation as to why the bad guys are evil, but in the main characters shoes, he has no clue. The main character is obviously wondering the same things we are wondering about the plot(which is explained around ch 29). Of course the art and character development feel amazing and it feels like the longer you go the better it will get. Anyways its amazing if you can read past 15 chapters and id not you're just too impatient.

20+ chapters of the most monotonous and boring plot ever. Seriously at some times it's just an extra scream or yell that's different from the previous chapter and this goes on for 15 chapters.
Plus like someone else mentioned the premise is just asinine like they could away get away with it.
Might be one to put on a shelf and read a year from now if it makes it past the axe. Gets a 3 for art alone.
No need to even check this one out. By the time the story does get somewhat remotely interesting it ends at chapter 40. Don't waste your time on this unless you've read everything else.

Referring to the company's plan during this testing is to fry the MC's brain for profit who also pointed out is still a school kid.

So yeah. This has problems. The start is poorly explained, the premise doesn't make sense, the 'evil' researchers who stuck him in this game are utterly ridiculous (as in they seem to be evil because... reasons... and the random researcher peons go along with it), and so on. Really, there ARE a lot of problems.
But if you ignore those issues? This is bloody fantastic. The MC starts off pretty weak (read: normal human), and you can see his mentality is pretty bad too. Not 'terrible' or 'awful' or anything, he's just a normal dude who thought he'd be beta testing a GAME (painfree) and now he's stuck in an awful cycle of full-sensation death and murder and agony. His transformation (ongoing) is epic AF, and the art is really cool to go along with it. You want Crowning Moments of Awesome (CMOA)? We got those!
That being said, there's mystery abound, and nothing of this world he's trapped in is explained, the real word corporation is sketchy as all hell, and also poorly shown. So if you like your story and setting spoonfed to you, don't expect that. But for all that the worldbuilding is lacking - so far - the emotion and character just jumps out even more so. Granted, just the main character so far, but frankly that's enough.
As I said, this has problems. But really? This is some seriously good sh*t.

The story is too stupid for it's own good, SAO with all it's faults made some sense, this one? A company publicly kidnapping and experimenting with kids, while they go publicizing it, they don't try to hide their activities either and for what? to make money? load of BS. It would have made more sense for them to kidnap people and conduct experiments in secret in an undisclosed location. And what exactly do they gain by torturing people having them die over and over? Not explained, if there is an explanation at all. Unfortunately this is another story written by someone with no life experience going just for shock value. This is for those "simple" ones out there that care for nothing other than pretty drawings and clamoring for a "bloodbath" in the comments in any odd chapter where there isn't a fight.
Tried to give it more time to see if it gets decent, but couldn't read more than 14 chapters, dropped.
