Madoka is a high school student who is recruited by Nabeshima ? the guy in the bunny suit ? to work for the GSG (Gokuraku So Gei, a transportation service to heaven). Lovely and a little sad. At the start it was very ghost-of-the-week, but it started to get a little more interesting and ongoing-plot-y as the manga went on. I really like that everything moved in real time, with the (alive) characters progressing in school and work, and obviously being in very different places (either in their lives or in themselves, if that makes sense) by the time the story concludes about three years later. The ending both surprised and didn't really satisfy me (I want to know more about everyone), but I can see why it stopped where it did. All the side stories were also wonderful - I really just wish there was more.
At parts very interesting but sometimes boring and predictable as hell (at least for my tendency to be very impatient). Humour also wasn't to my likening, but maybe I'm just too old for that or something? Surprising enough - I didn't like the art too much too. I've read better ones...
A pleasant and light read. Fantastic art.
