I managed to see this manga on a now-defunct online commercial manga site from Japan (name forgotten). Like all this lady's work, it features female characters made lovable by masterful simple drawing. It also features a gentle, understanding view of human nature and a high degree of optimism about the possibilities of the human condition in even the worst conditions.

This was a good manga but it's like a sketch for a great one.

The story is simple and yet hard to follow because of the constant time jumps and scarce information.
The drawing is something I could master in a day, and it doesn't make it easy to immerse in the story.

It reads more like a history lesson with some cute drama as filler.
