Feel good, fun manga!

If you told me to name the most fun, lighthearted, silly manga, Galaxy Angel would be one of the first names to pop into my head. This series, both anime and manga, was a big part of my childhood, a helped me develop a love for the medium as a whole. The character design is gorgeous, eye-catching and iconic, and their distinct outlooks and personalities (that often end up clashing) make for some downright gut-busting hilarious moments. While this adaptation is more streamlined and serious in comparison to the anime version, the goofy charm that is Galaxy Angel is still ever present, and makes this one of the most feel good manga series' of the 2000's! Anyone who wants a simple, charming story should check it out!

Well, I guessed it compared it to the anime, but still... The plot to me is so, so, although quite creative and the characters, are well, not as funny. Oh, well, I'm not into shounen manga anyways, I'm sorry to say :'(. On a positive note, DO WATCH THE ANIME it's friggin hilarious, it's my (second) fave of all time lol biggrin

A lot of people are mix up who see the anime first...The manga is based on the Galaxy Angel GA Project video game! The anime was then later made but the game was delay date, so the anime was release first before the game came out, but was not really base on the manga or the game.

I fell in love with the manga and have been a hard core fan since and have played all the games. I love the anime also since it hilarious even if it different from the manga. (maybe they will do a manga based anime plot one day...)

If you read and look more deep into the story there a lot of hidden things to think about.
I wish the manga/ game was more known (: the hard core fans are hidden and not notice that much. The game was almost was brought over but seem to be cancel or placed on hold.

I love the artwork even if it not the best super awesome like other manga out there,....but it's not about that when it come to manga, I like seeing different artystles and it fits well. This artwork is
different type of style of artwork that i love a lot.

One major things i'm so glad is that these girls are not an annoying harem like you would see in other manga where the girls are all fighting/falling in love for the guy in a stuped way. Also the guy not week.

For the other vols, I felt like GA Beta was rushed for the last vol. I think they should had gone with 3 more vols and worked on getting to know more about the past char lifes story. Even if they speak about it, it's different when they show it.

I wish there could have been more detail background story past and for other character for the enemy but even though, the manga was great and i never get tired of rereading them over and over. They will always have a special place for me.

Boys and girls can enjoy this manga.

It's to bad another company has not picked up the other vols that Broccoli Books has not finished in English. There not many space related manga out there.

Remember the ANIME is not even related to the manga story line. It take place in an alternate universe story line settings! THE MANGA is based on the video game.

Anime is great too! I love it as well.

Note: The first few Fan translation Vol up to vol 3 translation is not that great and mistakes on names etc. Vol 4 after do pretty good job with the translation.

It's not the greatest nor the worst. It's well...just fine, but compared to the anime's direction and style it falls far short.
