Nice episodic slice of life manga with a likeable MC. Interesting to see the artwork style and time period of the manga too.

Initially I didn't think this manga was really that interesting. It's a simple manga that doesn't stand out, but I like it. There is nothing complicated the story and it's a good change of pace. I like that the protagonist is a family man that is a earnest and caring coworker/father/husband.
It's pretty cool that the author explains the cooking recipes if you want to try making it. The downside is that this manga was made in 1984 so some of the recipes are outdated. Overall, I give this a 8/10 because this manga isn't complicated and easy to read for a change of pace.
