4 Volumes (Complete)

well i love this and this is so much good, teh stories the plot i enjoy it a lot but- the ending kinda rushed and well-? kinda anti climax
Honestly, reading this author works, he knows how to keep audience excited, due to his skillful use of suspense, and intriguing mystery and also knows how to make big anticlimaxes
The psychological thriller aspect was very exciting, I understand the kids misinterpreting events their viewpoints, but when we read the comic itself the adults like very sinister when in end you can't help feel the author troll, and thinks once he got audience excited he just doesn't care about the ending since he already has the audience.
Everything felt anticlimactic since,
the characters deaths being actually injuries instead, so no one got killed everything felt cheap, given how tense and dark the story was given, instead will had what I call the infamously named "disney ending" which feels jarring compare to the mature, dark and gritty tone .
My advice just read for the skillful suspense and thriller elements, but the payoff form this author will always or mostly disappoint.
There's an obnoxious amount of fan service in this. So much that it becomes hard to look over. There's definitely a sleazy vibe to it. 🙁 Otherwise it's well paced and pretty interesting. Even though the reader knows more about the mystery than the kids, what we do know raises more doubts rather than giving us any real answers. The increasingly mysterious island and kids themselves's purpose adds to the suspense. An effective thriller overall.
I truly love how the author tried to tie the story to real life while keeping the suspense high. I don't want to spoil anything so i'll just say this: This author does a really good job of tying things up. 😀
In many ways, this story is a lot like Sherlock Holmes. The readers pretty much live through the characters themselves, and the readers do not know anything beyond what the main characters themselves know. I love it like this because it gives a lot of possibilities!
to write a horror thriller with ghosts and conspiracy while sticking to objectivity is a near impossible feat
yet its what this author attempted
whats different makes this different from other manga is as opposed to the others were you know more and you have a large view of the truths and characters
in this one you don't know any more truths or view then the protagonists
and you get fooled when they get and you believe what they believe
and also one of the antagonists is also victim to this
and thats what makes this more realist then any other horror story
but I guess it doesn't have to since it's a good manga. This is the story of kids that have all been hurt or abandoned by their parents. So they already don't like adults, when the kids start to disappear one by one, paranoia and distrust build up.
In that sense, this is a nice story about paranoia, especially coming from children. I wasn't at all disappointed with it. I've read this twice and after you know the ending, it cuts some of the tension out of the story, but towards the end(around the last two volumes), It started to pick up again. When you see the deaths and what's causing it, that aspect remains quite good.
The first time you read it, is when it's going to be the most involving, to the point that I didn't even notice how curvacious one of the teachers is drawn.
really, some people don't like the ending because they are expecting something, but if you hold no expectation whatsoever and hope or something fresh and new, this will be a great manga for you 🙂
The survival genre of manga is a refreshing change of pace from the overbearing traditional action manga in shounen. That said, this series is average among survival manga. The story and characters are engaging enough but the way they are handled puts this manga in average territory. You can tell certain events happen purely for the shock value and many plot twists were visible well before they happened. Still though, I found it hard not to enjoy the manga.
I dont know what is happening to u guys? This is one of the best manga i've ever read. Dont care much about the ending, you will find the vest emotion: scary, panicking, thrilling, happy....I gave it 10 out of 10. And guys who did not read this manga, please try it and dont looking at bad comments
