Another overrated manhwa, reminds me a bit of Id.
I didn't last more than 2 volumes so take the comment as such, if it gets better I wouldn't know of it but it's of to a very bad start.
Many annoying inconsistencies. Our heroes try to escape the castle and choose to go in the direction of the enemy, we are talking of hundreds of people setting things on fire and destroying and killing, so noticing where they are should be a piece of cake, since it makes no sense the author blames it on a cluless girl... what a way of justifying dumbness. Then of course we have Rey who can't use the cursed sword on humans, ok... so why doesn't he carry a second weapon then? And the third member of the party, the King who gives himself in a hostage exchange for our hero that hates him, really?
But the one that finally put me off from the little interest I had had so far, picture this: Rey is possessed > we need to wake him up > hey lets wait till he defeats the demon first > nah that would make too much sense > lets do it now so the demon can counterattack us later > ok! > demon attacks. That's the logic of the author and I don't expect much more than its equivalent for the rest of the manhwa.
I might try again if this is ever completely scanlated, right now its too much for a story that doesn't seam engaging and that I wouldn't be able to finish anyways.
Forgot, the art design is decent, very classic, sort of japanese old school or early manhwas, in any case, the fights are no good, hard to follow the action, there is no fluidity from panel to panel (again, based on volumes 1 and 2 only).

There are only a few mangas/manhwas that makes me reread them again and again. This is one of them. It's a pity became all the groups that were working on it, seems to have dropped it and so we will probably never get to read the ending. So many positive reviews for this speaks for its quality.

I have complete read it in my country and I say well it's a wonderful but I somehow feel the author didn't have any fresh ideas in the late volume.

** I will spoil a bit smile **
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The God Bango inside Rei Yan is strong but its power got stolen by his son and become useless. Rei Yan was actually created by the Shiyan and his brother in Pasa sword lol and they makes it that Pasa Sword can completely take over Rei Yan body anytime anywhere anyplace.

Rei Yan and his companion go to Hell and find a new source of power that makes Rei Yan invincible and Jaryoon finally back to his sense lol. And the plot turn to OLD God vs New God (controlled by old Gold) vs Demon vs Human. Then Shiyan (the useless one) become The God of Destruction and in the brink of World Annihilation, Rei Yan kill it. END lol

It is really sad when we have to abandon a great read until another scan group picks it up again.

That being said, thanks to all of the groups that have slugged through to bring the scans to where they are today!

hope someone picks it up as TokyoPop seem to have dropped it. its a great action manga with a great deep story witch never gets confusing or complicated as most crappy mangas seem to do these days.

One of the first mangas I read and I still love it. The characters are interesting and the plot if deep enough to hold your interest without getting you totally confused and has some good twists. Good balance of action and seriousness with some comic relief. The art gets a lot better as the series progresses and Rey's apperance changes a lot which is actually refreshing. It got me completely hooked and I devoured the first 14 volumes, returning when the next 4 were released. Only downside is infrequency of releases since CCS is inactive and HAO dropped the project.

It is nice reading every once in a while when it is released One note, the art isn't first rate at the start but it does improve a lot as the series go on. Aside from that (if it can even be a complaint) I don't see anything wrong with the series. I do recommend it (didn't know there were 34 volumes out though >_>)

really like it, hope more groups would cooperate to scanlate it, so it'll be faster. 10 for this manhwa.
