A Lovely Anthology

I was really worried there because of the job contract, money-sex nexus, power differentials, siblings, and what not. But, I trusted in Yukimura sensei’s craft, and I was not disappointed. The characters aren’t shallow, the pacing of the story is just right, and the characters have their own desires independent of their significant other. Most importantly, the seme are affectionate, and properly apologize instead of completely sweeping everything under the rug. The art is lovely as usual and the humour endearing as well.

I'm already happy and, at the same time, sad because it ended! Man, I read it so fast, I didn't even notice the time! The art surprised me, the plot are good, the semes are kind-hearted (in their own ways), the ukes are so passionate... I LOVED IT WITH ALL MY HEART! <3

yukimura's works haven't really left any lasting impression on me, this work included. cute and fluffy story, no more, no less. however, the ukes in these stories are the most moe i've seen in her works so far. super blushing king in the second story stole my heart ;_;

Another one of your typical yaoi manga. The stories are cute and all, but it's not very interesting. There's no excitement and it's like you can predict what's gonna happen next. Some of the stories is just...well, touching I guess.

more depth than oitekebori blues, but still too rushed -- i just can't get into it if the characters profess a deep and abiding love for each other out of the blue; ok, so in some cases one of them has loved the other unrequitedly for years. but the other was clueless, yet once confessed to, *BOOM* in love he falls. the first story is my least favourite, because it rings the least true. but there are little details here that i like overall, and a cute sense of humour, and the art is nice, so it's still above average.

I love this mangaka. Her characters are always amusing because they're usually weird, awkward people who stumbles around trying to find love. They bring a smile to my face with their lovable, dorky demeanor.
You get all that here.

What I don't like is the sudden love confession that just pops out of nowhere. The two (from the first story) barely knew each other, barely spoke, but suddenly...they're in love? How? What is there to love? There wasn't any chemistry that I could see! It felt shallow, weak, and unbelievable. I felt cheated.

I know this manga is made up of short, two-chapters stories, so I guess the relationship didn't really get a chance to fully develop. Then again, I've read oneshot mangas that's left me more satisfied and fulfilled than this. I think the mangaka should stick to writing the longer one-volume stories, which are usually very good and well-written. This one?'s a miss.

Bottom line, pass this one and try one of Yukimura's longer stories instead.

It doesn't say it here, but there are actually three different stories, all unrelated. I actually enjoyed the second two (ch. 3-4 and ch. 5) more than the main story in ch. 1-2, though all are kind of cute.

The manga is worth a go. It's entertaining, maybe something to keep for a rainy day. At the same time it's not something I have a huge fangasm for.
