The plot is on another level in its capture of the greed of human needs with a really good plot twist (but somewhat predictable). I've never actually read anything like this before. It's a really odd point of view of the mangaka to indicate the needs of a little girl by giving her the needs of an actual woman who wants security.
All in all, a very good read and definitely recommend to the readers that enjoy thriller.

this series has really nice drawings for a manga published in 1974...if u compare it to other manga of the era you can see the difference...shame that only 1 chapter was released 
....i still wonder why she gave birth to her daughter....it doesn't seem at all bad from one chapter...i can clearly see how kazuo umezu influenced junji ito! i love the detailed art and the striking similarity in facial expressions to junji ito's art
