I really loved reading the first volume when June released it ;v; but sadly I'll never be able to read volume 2 since they're not going to pick it up...

This is one of my favourite shounen ai! I've read it about four times already. It was soo cute and the comedy aspect was great because
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
they start dating and then the brother finds out. The main character has a brother complex and its funny that once his brother finds out about the gayness he suddenly reveals his own hidden brother complex and then a sort of rivalry ensues between the main character's love affection and the main character's less than pleased brother if I didn't confuse u there :P

All of the characters are likeable and it isn't wracked with annoying situations like ten chapters of hardly any romance or a really hateful rival that everyone hopes will die or a wave of misunderstandings that really get on your nerves. It's short, cute and funny definitely recommended.
Also one of the things I always hate about a manga is when the main character gets uneccessarily jealous of a potential rival and starts making all kinds of embarrassing screw ups, I was pleased there wasn't any of this.

If you like Our Kingdom by Naduki Koujimi. . .

If you've read Our Kingdom by Naduki Koujima, and enjoyed it, then I'm absolutely positive you'll like this one. The teasing and sexual tension is similar. This one is a shade lighter, in that Naduki Koujima does actually get more graphic than Natsuho Shino. Yup. I said more. That says a lot, considering how not graphic (sexually speaking) Naduki Koujima's work is in Our Kingdom. As for emotionally graphic, the illustrations hold their own beside the well-chosen words that tell this light-hearted story.

Shino-sensei captivated. (I think Koujimi-sensei got a few more stomach lurches and teary eyes with her angst scenes though.) But me and my bag o' emotions were happily pacified, easily committed to her story from the first page to the last. Just not a huge fan of the sweet romances kept light and surface.

There is a one-shot included at the end, entitled, Please Keep It A Secret; also, very sweet and on the topic of recognizing love within friendship. Only this one has the seme being the sweet innocent dog and the uke being the (mildly) angry little bundle of confused emotion.
