I just read it again this week(up to vol 23) and what can i say....it´s simply briliant imo >< for all the possible readers: there´s a story break at vol 15 and from this point it gets epic.......EPIC!!!!!!!
*can´t wait till vol 24 is released*

I am up to chapter 28 and well... I must admit I had few laughs out of this. I especially like this version of harem-like story. but well, it is lacking in many aspects. like, they use many attacks and names for them but I only remembered one so far - Venom. I just didn't get pulled in as much as I could. I wonder how the story is going to develop and if it will get any real sense to it.
overall, don't take it too seriously and you might enjoy it.

lol:-D that "his kinda lookalike" is Uriel and yes, i think the plot is a little messed up as well; I hope Hagi speed up some more his releases^

Yeah, kinda odd with the angel/devil war and one main character dying and getting reincarnated (I think). I only viewed through the raws up to 21 (since I can't read it yet) but Dark Schneider and his kinda lookalike get into a battle (Dark Schneider mocks him the whole time though).

Nothing really bad but i don't really like these kind of mangas where the main characters start out uber good (dark schneider).

Around volume 15 and onwards the series seems to go everywhere because of the Christian apocalypse overtaking the world the war between Angels and Demons...nevertheless the artwork becomes impressive and some character designs are baffling - especially when Dark Schneider finally uses the Judas Tears to become a little more demon-like. Volume 24, the latest seems however to return to the fantasy trend that was trademark to the series in its pioneer days but the background is still that of Heaven vs. Hell with the humans (+ elves + hobibits (yeah, I'm not joking) + giants + hybrids) in the crossfire. Amazing but not for soft-hearted. Slightly trashy humor also thrown in. Different from berserk since this focuses most on magic, super powers and titanic fights. It becomes even more interesting in vols. 20+ since we get to know what Dark Schneider truly is and his role in the whole mess...and of course, the series' return to fantasy and re-focus on characters thought dead or disappeared around vol.15.
