The whole point of the manga is so wrong, so she's a lesbian tomboy and her parents send her to an all boys school to be cured and yay she ends up meeting a boy and turning straight. The whole point of it makes me want to barf, it's so discriminatory but reading it with an open mind, I would give it a solid 8 , the art is beautiful, the characters are nice and it's quite funny

I don't get why everyone is saying stuff like "naive" "cutesy" and stuff. It's a shoujo, what do you expect? It'll always...well most of the time, end up like that. I like the story, but not the ending. Why...why does it have to end like that? I honestly, don't care how the setup is bad, because all I like about is how differences can change a person characteristic and behavior.

Yes d concept parents trying to turn their daughter straight is wrong! but even in reality it does happen, so if its in a manga, I dont c the need to fuss abt it

There are a few things wrong with this manga, namely with the "curing" of Kei. However, I'm able to accept that Kei swings both ways but just prefers girls because of insert-random-childhood-trauma-here (which turns out to be the case).

The plot outside that is okay. I got bored pretty quickly and the lengths the headmaster goes to to kept her gender hidden is just ridiculous.The main male lead is just irritatingly mean and not charming at all. Overall, take a chance and read the first chapter. Or you can just read Ouran High School Host Club for a more entertaining version of this general plot idea (minus homosexuality).

I'm just going to point out that the more mature the review here, the less they liked this manga.

Ah, no, screw it, I'm going to chew it out for the shitty plot contrivances too. It's bad writing and you should feel bad for trying to excuse it.

I don't fault the people who enjoy this, but I am incredibly tired of manga where a queer character winds up realizing that hey, they can be in a heterosexual relationship too! Usually followed by the implicit adoption of expected, typical gender roles.

It might be cute and funny as a story, but the "time to make the tomboyish lesbian like boys!" aspect of it made it unreadable and hurtful to me. It may not be as overtly homophobic as a lot of other things, but for the purpose of this manga, it felt a lot like the usual cliched "it's a phase, she'll grow out of it when she finds the right man" trope. Do Not Want.

Not to mention the violence - it didn't feel very comedic to me, not at all. It just fed the anxiety I felt.

Once again, the "man hating" female lead is in love with cute girls and is considered gay, then they try to cure her of it. She annoys the piss out of me, and the plot is horrible. Also, the guy who seems to be the love interest is shorter and girlier than her, which are both qualities that I hate in love interests.

I really, REALLY love this manga *_*
It lived up to its comedy genre, and it really made me laugh a lot xD The main character, Kei, is endearing and hilarious. And Yui Yajin is adorable~ his sadistic personality was sooo funny. All of the characters were pretty weird, but endearing in their own way. Kei's mom was particularly hard for me to like (since she's self-centered, etc.) but in the end, I just loved them all.
A lot of my friends didn't like this, saying that it lacks romance. I think the romance in this manga is enough and well executed. It's sweet, not mushy, and I love how their relationship developed. And most refreshingly of all, the guy was the one chasing the girl, not the other way around. It's definitely a weird manga, but it actually has deep elements too, involving family, friendship and love.
I never got bored reading this, and It's one of my top favorites now :>

Well... when I was reading this manga, I had time to glance and wonder before I knew the cause of the protagonist's fear of men. I see in here(mangaupdates.com) that this manga has a category of Homophobia, I think that's the reason why Kei(main character protagonist) feared by men, but it was not. So of course I was disagree the Homophobia category!
And, when i say "This is the BEST Gender Bender manga that i ever read" i really mean that way! From all of gender bender manga shoujo that i ever read, this one is BETTER than ANYTHING!!! Well, it's just my opinion, don't be offended! Peace~

I honestly think this manga is lacking a lot of credit, it's original, cute and downright hilarious. I completely agree that this is one of the best gender benders out there and is definitely worth a go.
