Satou Atsushi isn't neglected by his family so much as ignored completely. Left to fend for himself, Atsushi fails to learn human speech and instead learns "cat language" and "Dog language" from the family pets. When he's eventually socialized with other children, his speech is stunted and his social graces leave something to be desired. But on his first day of nursery school, he meets a gloomy blonde with the same last name who seems to be a safe enough choice in a first friend. After developing a rather sizeable fixation with Satou Manato, he finds out that there his first friend is seriously ill and has a twin; Shuuto.

Years later, two other friends begin school and find that there are two Satous in their class too. Two Satous who, at first glance, could easily be mistaken for twins, but there's a bit more to things than it first appears...

if you don't particularly want to schlick-off, this BL without any sex scene is actually prety good. the plot is still hazy in the one volume that i read, but the characters are all very interesting and i really want to know more about them. a good read.

based from the title i thought there would be some smut here and there but there was none... at all. lol. i couldn't understand the plot at all since i don't know who's since i can't remember their names and i'm too lazy to check the previous pages. the glasses guy's lolicon issues added to the confusion but whatever. overall, it wasn't so bad... i guess. loljk. it was bad.

but yeah, if you're looking for conventional BL you won't find it here -- it IS BL, however; manato is in love with shuuto, and judging from a panel early on, atsushi is in love with manato. BL needn't have any sex whatsoever.

but that's not the point. i am not sure what the point is, but i am enjoying trying to figure it out. i just ordered the 2nd volume which will hopefully clear up the things that puzzle me. i like the art; it's expressive, clean, and cute. and i like that it's not linear but jumps forward and back in time. i also like the humour. i'm not bored at all; i turn every page curious as to where this is going.

but i can easily see how this will not be most people's cup o' tea.

I was almost completely lost at the beggining, and still am, but I can at least follow it now. Honestly, the only thing that keeps me reading it is the humor. It's hilarious how they screw with eachother for the fun of it. Sadly, it's boring and still doesn't hold my attention well. It's like some of the shows on TV that are boring but you watch anyway 'cos there's really nothing better on. (Except, this is manga.)

Take a look at the votes, it's rare to see a manga with such varied votes, some hate it, many love it, most think it's barely good. Just this should turn on your curiosity, but if this is not enough then you need to know that this is a very very original manga.
Originality is rare in BL/yaoi/shonen-ai mangas. There are too many stereotypes around, plots are all similar and you can predict events easily (and yawning). Instead, this manga is unique. It might not become your favourite of all times, but it's strange in a genial sort of way.
When I got to the 5th chapter I had to go back and read it from the 1st again, to understand things better and follow the characters without getting confused, but I don't think this is a bad sign. It means it's particular. Finally something that stands out of the crowd of boring mangas. Can't wait for the second volume (if ever...)

If I had to choose some adjectives for this story, I'd say: psychedelic, a little crazy, funny, a little disturbing, entertaining and captivating.

Aren't you curious? Go read it! smile

This manga makes absolutely no sense. To the people who see this as psychological, where? where is it? I didn't get any kind of underlying psychological meaning behind this at all. Also if it is suppose to be a parody of the BL genre it is an incredibly boring one. If I want to read BL with out the L I'd read seinen manga.

I see a couple people hating this manga, and I don't see why.
This manga may have shounen-ai as one of the genres, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to REVOLVE around such a genre. I think what this really revolves is more of the "Psychological" genre.

BL without sex?

If you're reading this expecting steamy sex scenes and homoerotic romance, you're sorely mistaken! After all, as the mangaka claims, this is a "boy-love manga with no love scene"!

Oh wait, there wasn't even a kissing scene...

Overall, it felt like a satirical piece. Yaoi is an acronym of Yama Nashi, Ochi Nashi, Imi Nashi (Japanese roughly meaning: no climax, no resolution, no meaning), basically, PWP. In 69, on first impression, it's basically like yaoi without the sex. The narrative is confusing, and even if you sew the pieces together in perfect chronological order, it still may not make sense to you. But if you delve into it a little more, you'll find underlying themes within the story.

Mangaka Shimada Masako has few published works so far, so I can't say for sure if I understand the artist's intent behind this work. Is it to question the bleary definition of the term BL? The disparity between real life alternate sexual orientations and how they're depicted in the manga scene?

I felt that the manga could be more concise and clear. The light-hearted tone and occasional gags are good, but I like a manga which can pack more punch. While reading, I felt as if I was missing pages, because the flow of the manga jerks you from flashbacks to flashbacks, revelations to revelations.

My conclusion: This isn't worth a read if you're expecting the typical BL fanservice. But this all could change in the next series (as the mangaka had hinted at), so let's wait and see.

This manga is just boring.I really tried to read it, but didn't succed. Yes, I was expecting shounen ai and I'm a bit disappointed. But if it was a good manga I wouldn't mind any other genre. But the characters (two blond-hair-boys) are annoying and their relationship is strange.

I didn't enjoy reading it, but if your still curious about it, just read it and have your own opinion;)
