From what I've been reading, this manga is actually a nice switch up for me. I love the humor and I love the variety of what the characters look like (including their personality).
One thing I'd like to really point out is the plot-skipping. Though there is no real plot and the story jumps from one event to another, the only downfall would be that sometimes the (backstory to the) current event is cut off and retold chapters later (sometimes in the middle of another event). And because there is no consistent plot to line all of these small events up, it's easy not to remember what the backstory is supposed to cover which event OR it's easy to confuse the current event because a backstory has been plopped right in the middle of it. So all in all, a very choppy and bland story line but it is still extremely exciting and really funny.
The artwork is pretty good, though I do have one complaint: sometimes the artist distorts the physical body so much it gets fcking weird as h3ll. Honestly, this is like the shameless copy of Boichi's Sun-Ken Rock. Like a shitty remake of what Sun-Ken Rock supposed to be, but the best part is the mangaka isn't afraid to make this work the "shitty" version. It's good, it's humorous, it's got no plot so the audience can just purely enjoy its violence (and crotch-revealing) and its somewhat stupid-but-enjoyable scenes.

Like all the other guys here i think that this series is nice yet brain dead action series with some black humor mixed in and nothing more. Masayuki's other series are not recommendable (i kind of like the American re-translation of his Battle Royal yet the original is bad) but he now finally found a sweet spot. No story and characterization, just videogame like action scenes and an acceptable level of gratuitous sex. I just hope that the manga doesn't go on too long. Less then 15 Volumes is a must or the jokes will run out. Till then happy reading.
Update: I just read the Homunculus plot around Vol. 5. So did the author start abusing drugs? I am not raising my rating but holy shit this insanity has reached a new level! It may be the opposite of good literature but it is a must read anyway and the even more trashy Wolf Guy - Wolfen Crest (6/10) is another brain dead delight.

i dont know why this is rated so low its really good and interesting, im glad to see the manga author of Battle Royal finally found another series he can stick to. while there isnt a main Plot there is still a lot of different story lines and they are done really well and show the badass moments great, i really like the two main characters they're funny and do their job great but my favorite character is Runner by far, he is super hard core and badass and i love how he always instantly shows his pissed of face, lol you can feel the intimidation

Literally. Rollover is my new favorite bad ass. If you liked The Breaker (before it went kindergarten) and Till Death Do Us Part, then give this one a try. And be sure to read at least as far as the end of chapter 4 before you say that the series is 1) derivative, 2) implausible, 3) weak.

i dont know which translator did this but its pretty well done. good job. seeing how this manga is from the author of battle royale, it shouldnt be taken too seriously at face value. its a decent enough read though with pretty elaborate background on the mafia. so far its the best from the author, although thats not saying much.

when its the artist of Battle Royal
someone criticized the plot that the island if legal then why battle for control
legality don't mean that its regularized maybe the state is weak (its under occupation) and the area is a borderland with lax control
I expected a criticism of other aspects
but I know this manga is not Battle Royal for the moment enjoy the gore, the violence & the occasional eye candy/sex

I don't understand the plot of this. If prostitution and gambling are legal why would the Italian Mafia, Chinese Triad and Yakuza fight each other to gain the control of casinos and brothels? It would be like Nevada, all government regulated and safe. Criminals only have control when it's against the law, like Al Capone has more power in the Prohibition than he would today because alcohol is now legal to be taxed and regulated. The premise of this story seems weak.
