Err. What's with that? Not romantic at all.
Read Strobe Edge, although the guy there has someone he loves at the first chapters of the manga, it was still romantic unlike this one.

Izumos little schemes were hilarious. This was all so funny...I just couldnt take anything happening seriously. Izumo had absolutely zero reasons to try and this take this guy from the heroine. She was only the device thrown in to complicate the 2 main characters relationship. She did a good job. Honestly....the last scheme was the funniest. I mean, all her plans to split them up were lamely executed. My only thoughts for each chapter were ''How will Izumo screw up their relationship this time?" I had a little fun with this one. Nothing to be read twice though. Im not giving it that much credit. Loved the main character.

I agree, Nene was the best!! I really do with there were more heroines like her~ I really liked her spirit. I also agree that Endou was super annoying. I mean, I guess I can kinda get where he's coming from? He still had lingering feelings, and to him Nene kept shooting him down a bit. (In words) However, he is SUCH a girl... and Izumi did not have the right to be mad at him in the end, stupid girl. It wasn't so annoying that I couldn't read it however, and it was actually humorous and a pretty nice story. I do wish the ending would have happened sooner (the situation 'drama' lol!) however... That might have helped!

So all in all, a pretty good read. It wasn't as bad as I thought.

I found it refreshing that this manga was unlike most other shoujo manga where the girl worries about her secret love but it turns out the guy liked her all along.
However I got annoyed at how indecisive the guy was. And that Izumi character I could have murdered.
At the end also because the guy was so flimsy I kinda didn't enjoy the ending even though they ended up together.
So it was good that the guy didn't like her to begin with, but it kinda sucked how he was on the fence all the time between the two.
I also liked the main girl character, she wasn't as cringe worthy as most and she acted mature (most of the time)
I would recommend.

8 chapters is probably too short of a time to include a decent love triangle drama and then have it end satisfactorily. I'm not sure if it's the case, but the drama and the subsequent ending seemed very forced; this leads me to believe as if this series got axed earlier than anticipated (like halfway through or maybe even by the third chapter, and was given 4-5 more chapters to complete). The art is great, but the storyline lacks depth (you hardly learn a thing about many of the characters, so you end up not really caring for them).

What drove me (and I suspect for others) through the 8 chapters was that initial impression of a strong, female lead in the first chapter. However, after 2-3 more chapters, things just happen somewhat matter-of-factly; I felt as if the mangaka didn't have enough chapters to elaborate on specific things she may have wanted to (i.e., the superhuman strength, or 'sporty' past prceeding the transformation, or why Endou is even described as Kashiwagi's a 'former friend').

Moving on to L-DK next...

too bad I didn't read the reviews before reading the entire series. Shouldn't have wasted my time. Jun is such an ass, he is so indecisive. Its like any thing is okay as long as it benefit him. Its all about how selfish Jun is. Nene totally is screwed up for insisting on going for him. He should be knocked in the gut. Stupid.

Well, that's disappointing.

Nene was a great main character, filled with tons of promise. She cried, but she always tried to do something about her tears, rather than just wallow in them. Unfortunately, Endou totally doesn't deserve her -- he's a pretty horrible person. I don't condone their relationship. Just like choirin's review said, I would've prefered Kanemaru to sweep in, haha. And Izumi really is an awful b*tch. Egads. XD

So, basically, the only nice things about this manga are Nene and the artwork.

The only thing I liked in this series is Nene. There should be more shoujo leads like her. Also, I wished there was more about Kanemaru. He seemed like the type of character I would love. :">

If there is anything I hate more in a manga it's the inability for a character to make up their minds. No character growth and no real human like trials to make them develope. All in all, a true yawn fest. Though I do think the art was nice.

Its starts out really promising. And then it just goes downhill for me. The only character that I really liked was Nene. Her character is very well rounded and dynamic. On the other hand, the love interest, not really. He's a flat character. His personality is all over the place and not in a very positive way. The art is well drawn though! =)
