This is my most favorite manga of all time! Sure there is a lot of smut and the stories aren't complex but there is story and it is an awesome read. It made me laugh, it made me cry and I loved the sexy scenes, (tentacles ftw, yay!). the side stories are also good. Plus in the end the stories come together beautifully..I've read this manga more than once and each time I enjoy it more. Be ware, there is shota but it's not so bad in this one and only for a few scenes. I personally dont like shota myself but in this manga it's an exception. The artwork is gorgeous! I loved the way the mangaka made a mouthless demon "grin". I don't understand why people are saying it's confusing. I wasn't confused at all reading it, even the first time around. I also don't understand why ppl rate low because it's "smutty", this is part of its genre. If you personally don't like smut that doesn't make it bad since other ppl do like smut from time to time.

Third story I've read from them with nothing but smut with a vague attempt at plot but rushing so fast through it there's no reason to include it in the first place. Plus the shota angle was just too much from me. I'm all for yaoi with ambiguous consent, but this was rape and when a story rapes a character that looks like a kid even once it's just too much for me.

This story was ok in my opinion, like if you're looking for plot it pretty much doesn't exist in this story. Normally I don't read shota but in this story i liked the shota. Really hot sex I'd say and it's pretty much hardcore yaoi hentai. Gave it 10 cause I think it's pretty good pwp hentai. Like others have mentioned this story is rather confusing and the characters change from use to seme a lot which I don't mind but others might especially as their features change like Hiro, when he's uke he's like cute and got short hair. but like when he's seme his hair seems longer or something which makes him look older and like a teenager instead of a boy. And for all those that like tentacle stuff you'd probably like this, cause its used quite a bit. Basically good if you're just looking for hot, sexy, hardcore yaoi hentai XD

..this manga is okay...VERY confusing though somewhat enjoyable.
I rated it a 6 mostly because it was very smutty (though the tentacles/jelly/ugh idea was a little overused...).
What took the other 4 points?
1.) Art- sometimes it's nice (I like how Takashi is drawn...though the seme/uke switch mentioned by strawberriceream is slightly weird...
2.) Storyline- Again, confusing- though it didn't really bother me too much; plus there wasn't much of a storyline anyways.
3.) THE ENDING:

Keep in mind that Dr.Ten's plots are really very subtle, and tend to be masked by all the outrageous smut.
The first time I read this, my brain just melted and flowed away.
The second time I read this, story elements started to gel, and I was continuously having "Oh I see, so that's what's happening" moments.
Then I read all the side stories and douninshi associated with Tokyo Savage, over the period of a year or so.
Now on the third reading, I can't believe how brilliantly this story is crafted.
All the seemingly random events come together in a beautifully perverse whole. I want MORE!!!

For how smutty this manga gets: 10/10. This whole series is basically hentai.

For art...eh...a 4/10. I just don't like how the characters (especially Takashi!) seems to be seme then BAM! He's a total uke. Then BAM! again and he's seme. I'm fine with reversible, but I don't like it when the characters' height, face shape, and even PENIS SIZE AND SHAPE changes whenever their role changes.

As for the story itself...I'll be generous and give it a 3/10. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of shota, but I read it when I feel like it. Also, most of the sex isn't even necessary, and like I said: this manga's a hentai. Nothing more, nothing less. There's angst when it's not needed, and there's no angst when it is needed.

So...*getting out my calculator*...overall, my rating's a 5.7/10.

Well, if you're looking for a series containing every conceivable vice possible in a BL world then look no further. This is possibly the filthiest Boys Love series circulating the net (yup, worse than Urakatana Kaminoki) , though I wouldn't really say that its "bad". Just super thin on plot and characterization and heavy on...shota-con. So don't start this looking for a classically developed story (although the concept is interesting). Absolutely not for the faint-of-heart or, for that matter, anyone who doesn't care for little boy sex.

First time reading from this mangaka and i have to say really GOOD story, the art is also not bad except for the man boobs that i sometimes see on the guys....it's a bit disturbing...hehe. Off to read the sequel because i want to know more.
