I've read 3 chapters of this. It's got good art (clear and well-drawn, but also with lively facial expressions and characterization) and character designs which are more unique than my first impression assumed them to be.

As for the story's content, right now it's mostly just a fun narrative. By the way, I was misled by people talking about "romance", at this stage it's just a bunch of silly awkward conversations, with only one or two blushes (the girl only IIRC)... pretty much all of it based off the dynamic of a girl+boy forced to hold hands.

The background story hasn't really been fleshed out, it's more of a rough sketch at this point. The "serious aspects" of the story (like life/death situations) don't have a lot of drama associated with them, at least not at this point, it's more like "Oh, no! What do we do? Somehow we were just able to make it! Whew." Not a whole lot has happened so far in the story with respect to the story's main plot, but a lot of small incidents have occurred in rapid sequence. At the story's current state, there are a lot of unknowns with respect to the plot, so it's difficult to be able to make a statement about the potential for future plot development.

As far as character potential: Elraine has an emotionally complex past, and her past experiences have been referenced once or twice; Kiri's seems like he's just had an ordinary, fairly nice life up to the present... but the manga is strongly hinting that there's something special about him, and it seems like he's keeping secrets and trying to downplay himself. Hmm.

So far this manga has just been a cute and entertaining story, but it has the potential to change rapidly, especially with the recent introduction of a character who I get the feeling has a personality that will stir things up.

I don't read Shounen manga often; I'm more a Shoujo reader. But after the first chapter, I really like it. The manga seems likeable to a Shoujo fan; not sure if it Shounen readers would say the same, but I think that it can be appealing to both genres. I really hope that there will be more action in this too. The art is really good and I really want to look more into the artist, Komi Naoshi (he's only 21 right now! I think that's young..) and it seems like he's new.. or not? But either way, I think the manga will be very entertaining. I have expectations now, but still, I can't wait to read the next chapter and find out how the story will unfold! Ah. I just hope it won't be very perverted. Or girl-Harem-ish.. That's just me though..

Reading the first chapter intrigued me. This is a great manga with a lot of potential. Kiri and the heroine are likeable, and I'm sure there will be character development later in the manga between those two. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I read the first chapter and it seemed quite refreshing for a change (a bit cliché but still fresh). I think this has a lot of potential and I certainly hope this is going to turn into something great. I'll be following this for a while ^^

I can't believe it. A Jump manga that actually feels fresh?
The first chapter was very charming. Will edit my comments later on, after seeing how this develops.

I usually read shoujo manga. But the art looked good and the idea seemed interesting... telling the story from the girl's perspective is an interesting departure from standard shounen titles. I think this has a good blend of qualities that will appeal to shounen- and shoujo-manga fans alike!

Although this series has only just began, I can tell that this can stem into something with a large following. A unique twist to an otherwise cliche plot, and the characters are quite likeable as well. This series has a great premise and I think that it can evolve into something really big.

Or not...it's really too bad that it got canceled. I hope Komi Naoshi's next series does better.

hmm well judging from the story of not being able to let go of hands its either shes gunna sacrifice herself for the greater good and can revived or kept in happy memories only since its a shounen... But if theres more romance in the series theres probably gunna be a way where she can stay alive without holding his hand and stay with him, but I suspect that shes going to just live life holding his hand.

Just read the second chapter, although the part his mom being looked YOUNG was kinda cliche, but his dad being OLD really made a balance for it.. lol XD and it was really awesome!!! Its so damn cute, there's definitely romance on this one. Its really looking good thus far, still recommend it, eager to read more, 10/10, read it NOW!
