Description
Rin is a tomboyish 14-year-old who lived with her grandpa in a small village out in the countryside. After her grandpa's death, Rin is obligated to leave her village to live with her mother in Tokyo. When she arrives, she discovers an amazing secret: her mother is not an office lady, but a famous model, Myu Suzuki!
After one night of reunion, Rin's mother leaves to follow some guy to an unknown foreign country without any notice other than a letter. Without any money to survive on, and the contract between Myu and the model company, what is Rin to do?

It was quite good

I ended up reading this by mistake. Someone had added this manga's chapters to a totally different manga on a site. Even tho the first chapter was derpy, I continued reading it.
Sometimes it made me hard to understand if the manga was mirrored or not. On some panels and pages, it would have seem the text bubbles went left to right.
There were also some missing pages from chapter 12, I believe, where Kyo was talking about his family in the hotel. Couldn't find them anywhere. Also some (quite the few actually) chapters had pages in a false order. Don't know if it was because of this or that, but some scenes seemed weird.
I'd love to reread this in the correct order and with all the missing pages. (If anyone has any info about this, please message me!)
Even tho it was quite jumpy, I liked it - otherwise I wouldn't have stayed up till 5am reading 19 chapters of it, oops. I do wish the ending would have gone a bit further. It seemed the ending was rushed like it was with Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume.
They didn't reveal the issue with Rin's father. Miyu almost made me scared few times that the boss might have been her father, but that was hopefully just me overthinking. Would have loved to see Rin grow out her hair atleast a bit.

Okay, I'm now going through my list of completed mangas and commenting all of the ones I thought were pretty great; this was one of them.

Although I wasn't a big fan of the main male protagonist for a while, I slowly grew to like his personality. I'd recommend it to any manga fan, seriously. Any bigrazz

Truely I was a little upset with this manga. I feel that The whole story of Rin's father was built up to an exstent and it was never explained. Also I don't like the ending. It dissapointed me for the reason that it ended without me feeling Rin grew in any way except in the relationship with her mother.
Though I must say that I liked the art work and the scene where Rin cries in the drama,,,,

Based on some of the thing's Rin's mother said at certain points it made it seem like there was some big secret about who was Rin's father, but then the manga ends without finding out the identity of Rin's father.

I didn't find anything wrong with the ending. When I read the reviews first, I was thinking the worst. Actually, I thought it was a fantastic ending. More realistic than alot of Shoujo's that are out there.

That being said, there is a bit of shallowness to the characters. You never quite get why a person is as they are, and questions that are raised just never seem to be answered. I read this in one sitting, and I found myself dragging through it. I felt like I read 35 empty chapters that are leaving me to wonder. Quite honestly, the ending is what saved what little sanity I had.

I noticed many felt the ending was not good and to a certain extend i agree. For one i really dislike when the mangaka makes you like a character that you feel will be the couple to the heroine and then turns it around and does the opposite, particularly when their relationship seemed more siblings like than a couple itself. Other than that i was happy with the ending because we were able to see her shine and try to accomplish all of her dreams.

The story was really good. The storyline hooked me, the characters develop well, and the art is pretty good. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it was too short and the fact that the ending really, really sucked. I mean, I've read thousands of shoujos and I can tell you that if you think that this ending was good, then, no ending is bad. Seriously. But give it a try. It's pretty good. If not for the ending, I would have given it a 9.3 XD

i thought that it was actually pretty good. the plot was interesting enough to keep me going.. and not cliche enough to make me barf.

i just didn't like how the ending didn't explain everything.. but i guess open-ended isn't too bad either.

not a bad story at all... the main character, as some reviewers have said, has inner strength which make this a reasonably good story, though I don't think I'd be interested in reading it again. It very much follows the storyline of other previous shoujos.

As for the ending, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although thats not to say I was totally satisfied. I'd call it more 'realistic' than 'happily ever after', and I must say I'm very tired of the 'happily ever after' scenario.
