Akira's subsequent investigation of Kilico runs into difficulty when he finds that it's too big for a police detective to handle. Her encounter with Akira makes Kilico remember her terrible past and have doubts about being an assassin. Kilico goes to Taiwan to train as a jewel connoisseur, the Sakaki family's legitimate business, behind which they hide all their illegitimate business. Fired for taking his investigation too far, Akira follows Kilico to Taiwan. The two meet again and become very close, as they get involved in the internal conflicts within the Tenrenban gang, Taiwan's biggest Mafia group.

you shouldnt think too much while reading this manga (just like watching a good action movie). But if you like the genre, this is worth your time. Didnt really like the ending though, but who am i to disagree with the writers vision?^^ And somehow it seems fitting for this manga
disapointing!!

Great dramatic Action series, I loved it, it's so captivating, I recommend it to everyone (above 16), but if your familiar with other mangas with violence and yakuza you wouldn't have any problem in fact I think you'll love it!

Quite honestly one of the best I've ever read. The author has a remarkable sense of dynamism, and style, his pages are some of the most inventively and cinematically constructed you can find and his writing is formidable as well. I truly feel privileged to have had the chance to read this manga.

I liked it. It was pretty much Max-Payne-in-Asia. There was nothing unpredictable about it, but it was fun.
I have no idea what the hell happened in the last chapter though. If it had ended two chapters before, it would have been much better.

I'm not a huge fan of most action mangas because they are often lacking in both style and substance. Kilico definitely breaks that mold with its amazlingly drawn scenes, stylish action sequences and an interesting story line that doesn't get dragged on endlessly. This is probably one of the best action mangas I have ever read. Not for the squeamish because it is VERY violent and bloody.

Few manga have captured the pure and raw feeling of violence in the art, and Kilico is among the top.
The intro-scene where Akira captures some thugs is really memorable and you'll immediately get the feeling of the manga.
You'll definitely cry "Oh snap!" sometimes when reading this.
The plot got a little confusing in the end, and the ending was kind of... well, disappointing. It wasn't the clean closure you probably wanted and some questions remain unanswered (or maybe I just didn't get it...), but at least it ended before it dragged too long.

Seeing interpretations of Mobsters is always a great read. It has an exciting plot which gets you wondering whats going to happen next. The characters are all good, i especially liked what happened between willis and akira. Can't wait for more.
This may be the most bad-*** manga I've read. The action scenes are slick, just over-the-top, and engaging. The characters look like they've been pulled out of an awesome action flick. At only 4 volumes, this seems to be a quick, joyous ride.

Artwork was different alright but i liked it. hmm plot was pretty straightforward in the beginning but.... it evolves into what i thought was pretty freaking lame. Ending was one of the worst ive ever read, much better manga out there
