I like the open-ended endings. Lately, I really like bittersweet stories that explore how unfulfilling and empty relationships can be.

This is kind of manga I can't forget. I think the author sympathizes with her characters and tries to convey that feeling to the readers. This manga is about the youth of different social status, in their most tough period of life - the end of adolescence and the beginning of adulthood. ^_^

I think the smut label is absolutely wrong and misleading here, these beautiful stories don't deserve it. They are already categorized as 'mature' and that's enough. Yes, there is sex, but it is not explicit and it is there as a plot device and not as the goal. Nor is it used to arouse the reader - at all, I must say. These are two bittersweet stories (with emphasis on the bitter), both with really strong doses of reality. If you are tired of unrealistic manga and are looking for something really taken out of life, check them out, they are really good. The emotional world of all characters is beautifully explored and that's the main theme in both. The first story deals with infidelity and the subsequent regret and strength that the involved parties find themselves experiencing, while the second one very obviously deals with depression and its downward spiral. I personally liked the second story best, it truly was something else.

Read this if you are wanting bitter sweet stories and want to sympathise with aimless characters. It's modern and full of anxiety, so there is very little actual romance here. Mild in the smut department, this story is basically an exploration on why people cheat, and the confusion one feels when entering a relationship that is based on convenience or mild affection rather than true love.

Enjoyable, but too hollow to have a real lasting impression.

This is quite the story, it's unlike many out there in fact it feels like a josei genre except for the smut. The only downside is that there was no end to either story or perhaps i should say that it's left for the readers imagination as to what both people gathered from it. The relationships are complecated but understandable i guess somehow it makes you feel like this is reality, and i felt like for some people that might have been it.
