Description

Kaho Hanamaki has an announcement to make, one that's going to surprise her classmates. Out of the blue, she announces to her class that she's an exhbitionist whose dream is to walk around naked all the time! Driven to more and more daring feats of exhibitionism by her classmate Rei, Hana is leading the way (down the titular "Road of Clouds") for her entire class to learn of the joys of exhibitionism first hand.

The artwork's not much to look at but the story really draws you in. Though almost none of the male characters really stand out, which is pretty standard for the genre, they're still human enough to have some level of self control. When the main female lead says that she will let anyone from her class have sex with her, under the agreement that he/she do so in front of all other members of the class, no one is really comfortable with doing that. They're self conscious students who are only slowly changed -- though not really corrupted -- by the main female lead's sexual perversion and curiosity. I also liked that the one real lesbian couple in the class didn't change their sexual orientation simply because other members of the class were having sex in front of them. While the story definitely has its flaws and it's not exactly realistic (though let's be honest, this is hentai so . . . yeah, you kind of know what you're getting into by even reading this stuff for the most part), it still differs vastly from what we normally see in the genre. I liked it. I wouldn't rate it above 7.5 or so though because of the artwork as well as its lack of good male characters (well, they're not so much as bad as they are plain and forgetful, which I guess is pretty close to bad, aside from one or two of them). However, if you want to read a good story on this particular subject (i.e. exhibitionism) then I would definitely recommend this one.

I'll try not to give any spoilers (although the "categories" list might've already), but I was very surprised by this hentai. It does portray fantasy sexual situations like one would expect from a work of eroticism. However, "Road of Clouds" depicts what might potentially exist if a group of hormonally driven teenagers were to develop on their impulses and lust in a positive direction. The characters actually develop stronger bonds of compassion to one another in this story, rather than the vehement senseless rape and brutality that is all too common in pornography.

My only criticism is that the story is too short, it would be interesting to see in extended volumes how "Hana's influences" might have potential post high school. If only we lived in a world where people would allow this kind of 'free love' to exist. T_T

This is Suehirogari's latest series, which started last month in COMIC 0EX. It revolves around Kaho Hanamaki deciding out of the blue to announce to her class that she's an exhibitionist who's greatest desire is to spend her life naked. The pushy Rei Ryugakubo pushes and goades her into stripping naked after the teacher leaves the room, which ultimately leads to Kaho doing some obscene things in front of the completely shocked classroom.

And that's just the first chapter.

Definitely faster paced than anything Suehirogari has done before. This may be a reaction to criticisms of "Nana no Iro", his previous work that was very, very, sloooow and generally disliked.
