Some things didn't makes sense and you'll probably be better off stopping at about chapter 9 or 10, from there it seems the series got axed or something and everything got wrapped up by introducing things never mentioned before. Also, everyone hating on the main character and his mother despite his father dieing for his country by fighting his own prodigal son is extremely non-sensical and thus infuriating. Couldn't the mangaka think up a better reason to cause distrust towards and insecurity within the main character? The fight scenes are generally pretty good though. This series could have been perhaps even an 8/10 if it weren't for these things.
Some stuff was pretty cliched and predictable too, but you should kind of expect that when going into a series like this nowadays.

Bottom line, the main thing going for this series is the action. The whole betrayal/conflicting loyalties thing and romance couldn't be sufficiently explored due to a rushed end.

The start and middle of this story were quite interesting. The plot evolved with every few pages and the character development of certain characters, though simplistic, was quite consistent. The negative point is that the end lacked sufficient development, so many of the twists had a softer impact. It's a shame 'cos the writing could've done with 1 to 2 or more volumes to cement the over-arching plot and to really flesh out much of the entire cast.

Still, it's worth a quick read. Note: It's quite a conventional story but I'm a sucker for such stories at times. However, it does have far more strengths than weaknesses. Plus, it's also less long-winded than similar shounen/other plots that tend to well, stretch by 10 to 30 ++ volumes.

This series started out really dramatically great but kind of sizzled as it got towards the end. Perhaps it was too fast paced? I’m not sure.

Younger brother idolizes his genius older brother and hero worships his father. When the brother gets branded a traitor, his father killed, and his mother imprisoned; Zan must go reclaim his family’s honor by rescuing the princess. Once the trip to rescue the princess started, things started to go downhill. The tiresome bickering and fighting w/in the team was silly and it became kind of obvious who the villain was. One of the other things I didn’t like was that everyone put down Zan’s father after his death. Man died protecting his country, and now everyone labels him as good for nothing.

The artwork was really good, and was the one saving grace. If they cut out all the silly bickering dialogue than there may have been better and longer action sequences.

this manga could ahve been better,the start was interesting,the middle was ok and the ending was abit cliche but it's ok i guess, sure the plot could have been improved, this manga isn't great or very good, it's just plain good, i really really liked it though.i rate it 7.5

This series started out wonderfully, with a few plot threads introduced. Then it seems the author just rushed through all of the characterization and ended with an ending that should have had more build up, something that can be said for the entire manga.

All in All a good futuristic manga.
The plot is straight with a definite structure. No side story. In the last chapters some good developments that I wouldn't have guessed. Really interesting. Only one part of it is a little to unrealistic to me. But I won't spoiler so see if you think the same.
As for the art I think it isn't outstanding or the opposite. Could say normal. It doesn't express feelings really well, but it's enjoyable to watch.

nothing in the plot really stands out so far; its another one of your military futuristic manga's.
I guess the art and action is pretty decent. Fan of the genre's would appreciate it.
