Honestly one of the most pure and sweet shoujo manga in existence!

I usually find the heroin of shoujo stories irritating and whiny. But Sadoko is very lovable! And Kazehaya is SUCH a nice guy but he isn't one of those typical good-looking player types.

No words of praise can do this manga justice. Just read it and enjoy!

Actually i had just read this manga only this morning. And up to now i'm still hook to it. I like the character of Sawako ( maybe because she resembles me alot hahahhahahah!!).

well, the fact that this manga has gotten so much attention for one should draw your attention..
it's very refreshing~ everyone is so cute! and the storyline too!
like other comments have said, the mangaka makes you feel for all the characters, not just the main. it's wonderful!
and you'll be smiling a lot and hurting when the characters are~
which is what a story should do right?

Kimi no todoke is the kinda manga that you can start reading when your angry as hell still make you leave with a smile. The 0 chapter starts off a kinda weak and not all that remarkable like your typical shoujo manga. Its decent but nothing special.

But thats the 0 chapter the shot that gave birth to something way better. From there the quality of the story improves like nothing else. Characters are surprisingly multi-dimensional and all extremely likable. Hell I cant find one that I hate from the main cast which is something that I can easily do. Every story gives you a, wow thats good feeling and when characters are in trouble you really hope it all works out for everyone.

I love this manga because it is so innocent and sweet. Sometimes things can get a bit overused, but otherwise I love it. Some comedy moments, some romantic ones. 10/10

but i was really disappointed with it...

Excessive neediness and gratefulness gets tedious and boring.
i dont feel anything for the Sawako Or her worshiped "Kazehaya-kun".. she juz goes on and on and on about him with sparkly tears in her eyes...
she literally...worships him...
He has a flat 2D personality, doesn't stand out at all -- it isn't worth all that mooning and tears.
and they were juz paired off...it was like a relationship between a master and a lackey...no romantic feelings but one kept together by the lackey's (Sawako's) mindless sentimentality towards "Kazehaya-kun" (the master)
i thought it'd be good because of all the attention and praise but i was disappointed.
There are such hard core, defensive, sensitive fans (above commenter (JUZ JKING) XDD)...
Perhaps I should give this a second go...but LAWLS
JUST because there are so many people liking this manga, does it mean i should like it too?

I'm deeply moved by the pure emotions in this manga. Twisted logic, seemingly expressed in many other shojo mangas, is not to my liking. Friendship and trust at it's best. Don't forget the tissues. :-)

I fell in love with the art and the cute romance and the innocent characters... a very sweet manga! But OMG, as I read up to the later chapters (the latest raw chapter is 36)... let me just say the protagonist's innocence and naivete and CLUELESSNESS made me tear my hair out. Well, this is just saying how powerful this manga is... but man, I really want to give the mangaka a good kick for making me suffer so much!!! Hint: lots of cliffhangers and misunderstandings. And everything progresses VERY slowly. But anyways. A very sweet series, you'll be sucked in from the start (unfortunately).

seems like sawako and kazehaya will be a couple..
the story was really amazing. I really looking forward for the next chapter. I really cant wait..>-<

The plot somewhat reminded me of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge, but they almost have nothing else in common aside from a lead character who's compared to the infamous Japanese horror icon 'Sadako'.

The art is beautiful, none of that excessive use of flowers and sparkly and feminine screentones. The characters are easily likeable, and you can't help but want to read more as their relationships are really interesting. It has a nice balance of light-heartedness and drama and bits of comedy, and to tell the truth I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a j-drama or an anime series.

Recommended for those who want a character-driven story with pretty art, interesting characters, and heart-warming story.
