In any other case I'm sure that Master would of fallen in love with the pet, but he wasn't the one. The pet in this story would actually be one of the people that loves the master but will never get him. Kind of like a love rival with no hope.

just...sad. simply because its too close to reality. when we are tired of something, we abandon them, and thats that. no hard feeling eh? damit, if i want depressive reality i turn on the news!

but its not bad in itself. i love the fact that sometimes shits do happen in yaoiland.

Too Much Left Unsaid, But Stirred Many Questions for Me

The art is beautiful and soft. This story is unlike the happy, tender anthology collections Toyama-sensei usually puts out. To me, this very short piece had a tragic poem feel to it. Although I was saddened and mostly not satisfied, it still hit at a heart string: one that said to me that people aren't easily labelled and categorized.
The behaviour of the Dom man who 'saved' this little sub kittycat, who was at a really low point in his life, was very curious to me: Why save him if he's going to turnaround and 'abandon' him or coldly reject his devotion? Did he really ruthlessly 'abandon' him? Did he make sure/do research on the man who he gave the kitty to, making sure he was someone who would be kind to him, give the kitty what he knew he could not? Or did he simply give the cat to the highest payer because he was tired of him or did he believed that life is random?
Because he never came around like the gruffest and coldest 'hero' that the reader typically sees in yaoi, I was intrigued. It had a more 'real life' feel to it (and in the underground community of masters and slaves.)
There is a lot left unsaid in the story, which gave me that 'unsatisfied' feeling, but it also was intriguing and stimulating for further pondering.

Yes both comments were correct. The art was quite nice. The endingconfused? It just leaves me wanting. I hate to be left like that. It needed at least two more chapters.

My votes with Carthae and Astroasis. Beautiful artwork, so-so plot, horrible ending. (Was that really suppose to BE an ending?)

I agree with Carthae's comment. The art is lovely - there's no question about that! However, the story is another matter. The plot itself is actually good... but where it ends is BAD. I honestly can't even fathom what the mangaka was thinking to end it there. Sheesh.

The art is great, but it's one of the very, very few manga I erased from my disk. I simply hate the way the story goes on. For mature readers only (which I am not).
