I agree with the first reviewer: the title story was handled rather poorly, and while the writing was good, it was really unsatisfying. Ibuki was left heartbroken and pushed away, and I didn't like how the sole purpose of his brief relationship with Chizumi was to pretty much hammer home how Chizumi can never reciprocate those feelings because he can never see Ibuki as a separate person from his father.

It could have worked if the story was longer, but as it was, I think it was just handled poorly and came off as being spun for cheap angst.

The second story was alright, but again, the main character of it was just a huge jerk and I had no interest in being inside of his head.

The relationships are interesting and kind of twisted, but they're either not fleshed out enough or actually brought down by the characters. Lovely art and atmosphere, though.

I am in love with this mangaka because so far, every manga i have read from them has this element of obsession and theres always this aspect of deep jealous that leads people to do very strange things. And these things i really like (forgive my twisted personality).
Anyway, this manga was no exception but really, i felt the third wheel should have had more attention and the ending was abrupt. i was however content with the pairings and the protagonists pain was realistic.

Well, just finish this one.
I actually am not a fan of Yamakami Riyu but I have to say that this manga is a good one wink).
I agree that the ending was not really satisfiable, especially the way Chizumi lets Ibuki out sad( *poor him*. However, the ending is acceptable *for me, at least*.
The story was built quite right and readers somehow can't besure who would be chose by main character =)).

I just finished the last scene chapter.
It's not expected, that's for sure, but the ending was terrible in my opinion.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The main guy leaves his first partner to be with the kid. Okay. That's how chapter two ends. The last chapter, he gets back together with the first lover and leaves the kid heartbroken.

I mean, I believe that it could've worked... but it was done in such a disdainful way. I don't see how that last twist would catch anyone's approval. It may seem realistic, but I just feel it wasn't done right at all.
