Again, nothing outstanding as far as the plot goes here, but the characters are quite endearing in different ways, and I always appreciate proper character development in a story. Plus, it has both cute and funny moments, which is like, the ultimate combination right there. Honestly, this mangaka should just stick to writing comedy with dashes of drama because she's quite better at it than writing dark and serious stuff.
I found this one average, but I enjoyed reading it. I liked the personalities of the characters though I felt Katsuse lacked a little depth to him. I would have liked to see their relationship develop a little more than it did (the problems with the relationship were almost always around insecurity, which is okay, but I feel like there's so much more that the author could've dealt with but just kept targeting the insecurity of the two instead).
About Kuramare and his step brother (not blood related if you don't like things like that), I feel like that relationship seems misunderstood a lot.
If you want a fairly light school life romance, this one may be for you. The art is a little older and not the best (though I personally like the older BL style), but if that won't bother you and you want a quick read with a plot like this, go for it.

Kuramare admitted he felt he was able to defy the rules and structure that controlled his life by being with his brother, but he also obviously liked him. He was hurt when he heard for sure the guy pretended to care and his act of caring was actually something he got his 'girlfriend' to do. He also cried after he broke it off with the guy and still more, later on he said things would've been different if his brother had cared about him and not his money. So I don't think he was in it just to rebel or for pleasure. He honestly liked the guy. He's even his type, as can be seen by Katsuse being so similar.
Also, I personally think the brother really did like Kuramare, but was too naive to admit it, even to himself. He's obviously older but that doesn't mean he couldn't be naive about love, even if he had other partners. After all, the guy did get into a yelling spat with a high school student first in front of the school and again later in a residential neighbourhood. Not something someone mature would normally do.
Also, I personally think the brother really did like Kuramare, but was too naive to admit it, even to himself. I like it still the uke said he has sex with a random dude before. I know its petty to expect the uke to be virgin all the time. I would understand if the uke did it with his ex coz u cannot change the past. But when they did it just for pleasure or rebel, I'm filled with disgust, especially when he acts to righteous and mighty in front of other people. The way he said it pissed me off the most too. He casually dropped it off like the most natural thing ever. Idk if its supposed to be funny but I would be pissed if I was Rin.
I found this one too cute and lovely. I really enoyed it. Kuramare was just to cute and funny. Rin also, loved the extras at the end. Made laugh. Over all I enjoyed it. It was the first of Yamakami's manga I read. And it had me hooked. 
Rarely do I get a yaoi that makes me laugh this much. I love Yamakami-sensei's humor. I love how she takes her story lines seriously, and yet not seriously, at the same time. The relationship between these characters is so funny, and yet so sincere, at the same time. And the characters are so cute!
