This is one of those mangas that NEEDS to be accompanied with watching the drama (I recommend the Taiwanese version). You obviously won't get the full development of the story/characters just by reading this manga (which is basically a quick summary of the show). Overall the manga is good to get an idea of the synopsis of the show, but should never stand alone unless you enjoy reading over-dramatized, too quick, and underdeveloped plot lines.

Give me back the time I wasted reading this! Ive read girl meets boy, misunderstanding misunderstanding misunderstanding, little antagonist girlfriend tricks, leading to resolution numerous times and this has got to be the most unrealistic one ever. Not any one of the stepping stones to the happy romance was realistic. The chance meetings, the lack of communication and quick to judge characters and the stupid resolution were silly and outrageous. The theme of fate that the author tried to employ cannot justify how unrealistic this is. The jokes are cheesy Chinese jokes that dwindled and died off. (Spoiler: how tha heck was he going to get married when he never divorced her?) the characters are inconsistent and unrealistic.

I gave this manga a few points because it was somewhat entertaining (for having such attractive male leads and cute puppies) and for the art not sucking and for the jokes working a little, and for reminders to the audience like caring for babies and pregnant women and post-it notes and background characters and the like (even though these messages lessened toward the end causing it to go downhill). It's not too bad because it was short and very easily readable/skimmable. At least I didnt get bored.
This manga is for someone who doesnt care how outrageously shoujo stories get to the point of conceding to any logic of probability, For someone who has just begun to like shoujo manga.

It's really not all that bad. I mean yeah, it can be annoying at times, and the male lead can be a jerk. But he's not a terrible person. He was just torn between his love.
The main female wasn't emotionally weak. She knew she couldn't have a happy life with the male lead, but she wanted to make the best of it.

I think you should give it a try. Its not amazing, but its not terrible.

So I finished the first volume (barely able to finish) and I want to barf. Arghhhh!! I mean they havent done anything stupid yet like what other readers have told me but I cant stand it. The art is horrible (it is not ugly nor pretty but it doesnt flow.. it soooo...uhm... square??, that doesnt even make sense). The characters are so flat (there is a little filling for the male lead when he stopped the abortion and took responsible but that's it). According to other readers, he's gonna treat her badly but she still wanna stay with him... idk if that exactly what happen but it2 pretty cliche. Im not going to rate it since I havent finish it but it's pretty bad..

I watched this drama years ago. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and had the the most cheesy ending but nonetheless I still enjoyed it. I saw this manhua that was based off the drama and decided to give it a try.

Because of this manhua's short three volume length the story feels a bit rushed compared to the drama's twenty-four ninety minute episodes, but it does a good job of picking out the main points of the drama. So if you wanted to checkout the drama but are reluctant to do so because of how long the show is you can read this manhua to get a quick idea of the drama.

Watch the drama instead. It was so much better and make you feel so much more. One of the best drama's I've ever watched. Never have a drama made me so angry made me so happy and made me cry so much!! So good <3

It's cheezy, cliche, dramatic and unrealistic...and yet, I love it! It is hard to explain but even I can't understand. Despite the fact that the end was pretty much all tied up with a cheezy pink bow or that it was like a day time soap opera. It is like when you try a new flavoured cocktail, where everything about it tells you it is gonna taste bad, but you drink it anyway and despite the taste you order it again next time... I am lost as to why I really liked it... I just did.
Try it, who knows, maybe you might too!

It's not the best manga out there. The manga feels like there's something missing...it seems way too rushed and so you don't have ot relate to the characters. It seems pretty cliche too, I'm usually not a hard person to please when it comes to shoujo but it seems like they narrate everything they do and that that 's the only way you know half of the things going on. If you didn't have the "narrations" it feels like it would be hard to follow. I would like to keep reading to see howi t goes but I'm not too entirely interested. Usually I like 70% of the mangas I read and 90% of the shoujos, I like but I can't get myself to love this one. It's also a little bit unrealistic with the way the people are thinking, and how they are thinking it. It's kind of like...a girl says a sentence and the guy thinks he truly and utterly care for her...I believe there's a thing called love at first sight but even with that, you aren't going to truly and utterly care for that person right off.....the art was a bit...different too....when shonen mangas make fun of shojo mangas and draw those weird 80's/90's shojo mangas...that's what it looks like...but a little less corny looking...if that made sense lol
If you read it...just don't expect too much....:/

i wanted to like this manga but it's trite and boring. hard to sympathize or even relate to the heroine. the only good thing that surprised me about this story was the hero's original steadfastness to his girlfriend. that was nice but as for the overall story- forgettable at best.

The drama was so freaking depressing, it was unbelievable. I kind of don't want to read the manga for the reason of it looking remarkably quirky rather than unrealistic and heartbreaking. But you never know.
