Trying too hard

It's like the author is trying to set out to write the saddest collection of stories ever. Reading Deep Love reminds me of myself in elementary school, where I would cram any tragic plot device I would come across into my characters' histories. This comment applies to entire Deep Love Series, but I'm taking it out on Pao because this was just too ridiculously sappy for me to take.

It's like nobody can be happy. Everyone ever encountered in the story dies or is living a depressing life. And the whole problem with this is that it cheapens a character's death to the point that you're like "Oh, another person died? Go figure."

It's detached from other deep love stories?

Different artist and deviation from the main story? It's pretty good and less tragic than the other Deep Love stories, but seeing homeless people feeding abandoned animals while they cant feed themselves properly makes me feel guilty +_+

Another tragic from the start till the end. From the story of Ayu to Yoshiyuki to Reina to Pao. A very touching and yet sad tale that was portray here about the society these days. I salute to the author for writing these great stories to share with all people who reads it. I shows how precious life is and how we should move on positive and there will always be someone who care for those in pain and suffering. I truly recommend Deep love Ayu, Yoshiyuki, Reina and Pao to everyone. Two thumbs up!

being a bit too tragic

With understanding of the troubles the poor pets in the real life, you may find the series is written a bit too tragic. If the tragedies are spanned into a longer run or splitted into different stories, it could be better. The choice of little pao as the talking character is a good move.

It's okay

I feel like the entire manga was a plot device. I understand it's supposed to induce a sob fest, but each of the tragedies seemed to happen just because. Sometimes, the plot is so predictable since all you had to do was imagine the most tragic thing that can happen and it will come true. The drawing style is mediocre, but it gets the point across, so it's good enough.

Ugh

Another dark story to trigger people. Hurting and murdering innocent animals like dogs is a crime. I really hate that theme. Like the rest, this isn’t worth to read and never to reread.

Unbelievable feeling with reading "Deep Love - Ayu"

This really is such a nice touch to the story of Deep Love- Ayu no Monogatari. I never would have imagined that even Pao would have such a meaningful and difficult story behind his sympathetic role in the original story. You have to read this.

It could be because I just finished Ayu when I read this, but I was crying from the start. But honestly, this one was way more sad. Pao had so much tragic stuff going on! I really started to like Ayu so the end of that one left me really sad, but Pao just went through so much that I could not stop crying.

Said i wouldnt cry when i read this of course i ended up crying anyway this one is almost a bigger tearjerker than the first of the deep love. This remind me very much of how people in my country treat animal and i am sadden by the fact that i am so ignorant about it

Its different from the rest of the Deep Love series, which is why I like it more. This is more realistic through the eyes of a dog. Be warned though this may be even more of a tearjerker then the rest. Everything was so tragic. An innocent dog that lives through so many tragic scenes and given so many false hopes. It gives the reader a understanding about how lucky we are when there so many bad things occuring in the world. So sad. T.T
