It was alright...

The leading male character was a major reason why I started and finished reading this. ( He was just so... so... >w<!! )

Story wise I find it rather amusing, although there are some parts which are utterly unrealistic
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Mainly when Ren jumped off from the 3rd floor of the building without sustaining any broken bones or injuries (and he was even carrying Himeko!)

I also found it annoying when they introduced a new character and then...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
simply seemed to forget about him without even explaining why he was gone. I was expecting a love triangle, and maybe a past between him and Ren (I can't even remember his name ;-;) also a reason why he wanted to steal Himeko away from Ren. I thinki it would've been better that way.

Gave an 8 / 10 mainly cause of the art. I found it to be really cute and adorable ( mainly referring to Ren <3 ).

It's really really GOOD!! GREAT!! AWESOME!!! The ending is so FANTASTIC!! biggrin
I love the male protagonist, 'cause he is a good/hot character. The nature of the male protagonist is really good. Not annoying. Not like the female protagonist. She's kinda annoying. The nature of tsundere that she had is bothering. It's not like i dislike Tsundere Character(actually i love Tsundere), but it's kinda weird for her to had that nature. But she had a good nature, like; she smart, strong, and want to help someone who in trouble.
But, i would love to recommend it! smile

10.0 for the art
9.0 for the story
10.0 for the nature of male protagonist
7.0 for the nature of female protagonist

Unlikable MCs

Overly cliched story, nice art, CHARACTERS THAT ARE INCREDIBLY HARD TO SYMPATHIZE WITH.

Headstrong heroines seem to be popular and easily liked by readers of this genre but this work tends to lead one to the misconception that since Himeko acts as an extremely strong-willed and dauntless "queen", it means that she automatically qualifies as an ideal heroine under this category. Seriously, she does not. Her actions appear to be always triggered by her ego which I found rather intolerable and not in the least bit admirable for a shoujo lead. While she may be outspoken and all, her words always center around how perfect she is and that every single male specie who happens to lay his eyes on her should prostrate himself before her because apparently, SHE IS QUEEN SAKURA HIMEKO, a phrase she keeps spouting throughout the entire series that it eventually got tiresome for me as I read along. Very narcissistic and arrogant. Even after meeting her love interest, there's not a slight change in this save the fact that she becomes your typical tsundere girl. One short scene which had the potential to show an admirable, selfless side of her for once is when she tries to save one of her followers from bullies but in the end it is revealed that her rescue attempt was carried out because it’s one of her fans she’s saving after all, not for a much nobler cause or anything. There is a difference between heroines that are strong and stand up for what they know is right and heroines that are strong yet purely egoistic. Well if you like (exaggerated) queens in your shoujo, chances are, you might like her. She simply got on my nerves so bad for obvious reasons stated above.

There are a few things for me to complain about the male lead as well. Like him being a little too cliched – smart, cool, and strong megane bishounen blah perfect in every way blah. Or him being pointed out as a sadist at one part (some may consider that appealing so it’s subjective). He just didn’t leave a big impact on me.

This is one title that had me cringing at both the leads. More so with them as a couple. I honestly could not find it in myself to root for their love but at the same time I was somewhat glad that they were able to have someone who could blindly stand each other's personalities. If I were the guy, I would definitely not want to have anything to do with the girl considering her conceited attitude.

if u read S.A or kap>o<n
u get a general idea of what this series is like
its just a teensy bit more mature than S.A

but will have to give it a 5 for not doing more couple development

It was an ok manga. If you're someone that doesn't get tired of cliches, it was pretty good smile However, the ending
Spoiler (highlight to view)
seemed really really rushed! I mean, all of a sudden she sleeps over his house and he proposes to her then THE END!? The author could've done more.

Thankfully there's no smut (... so far). The thought processes of the heroine and the reactions of the minor characters (the heroine's crowd of guys) are really weird and silly. Nonetheless, the plot makes sense on its own and I think this is seriously one of the mangaka's better works. Usually her stories don't have much character development and are loaded with smut, after all... and there's really not that much character development in this one, either. But that's just my own opinion- feel free to give this one a try.

Sure as purehappiness said that this manga has some cliche shoujos, but that doesn't change the fact that this manga is still interesting. Besides, judging from her/his comment, he/she probably reads too much shoujo mangas, but that doesn't hold true for other people, so don't let his/her comment bothers you too much.

As for me, a guy, I find this really interesting and mainly because I like girls like Himeko. She's smart, beautiful, athletic, and has an awesome attitude, but when it comes to stuffs like love, she's becomes dere dere. I hope the mangaka refrains from putting in smut though. It's too bad no one's scanlating.

AHHHH SHE DOES ALL OF THOSE CLICHE SHOUJOS

Wow this mangaka has done almost every shoujo manga plot in the world! She has lots of smut too. But recently she has been toning it down and this manga is a result of that. The heroine is decent because she's strong enough and blah blah, but then when the bishie hero comes storming in, she's all jelly in the knees and she doesn't know how to act in front of him, etc. So she's a tsundere I guess.
As for the plot, it's nothing new there. The art is getting better and better. Ren looks really good, and Himeko looks like the same as most of her other heroines. I give it a 6 for it's okayness.
